Staff was very nice and the hotel was renovated and clean - the complimentary bagged breakfast was a nice touch - Be mindful of the area around the hotel - this part of the city can be a bit rough and unsettling by way of the drug addicts/homelessness and all that comes with that vibe.

This place is new for us and so far it’s a great option! Rooms are extremely clean with updated washrooms and close to the street car and downtown. Great concierge service and a free continental breakfast! Also has nice price point - so overall great value.

Location: a little bit unsafe, due to a lot of homeless encampment (a block away) Room: too tight too small, shower space too little. Room has no exhaust, we feel suffocated. Aircon was too loud and i think, needs more cleaning. I had a headache and stuffy noose for both nights the we stayed. Cleanliness: looks Clean but there were ants the day after (we had some food with us). No ref/fridge to store some cold food/items. But the front desk offer to store our things in their freezer. Price: i think it was the most affordable for that length of stay and closeness to the city. Transportation: there is a train stop just in-front of the hotel, convenient for those taking public transport.

There was one staff member that was friendly and helpful. Outside of that, our stay here was terrible. The hotel is in poor condition, we had to body check our door to get inside, as the door was very hard to open. We often heard other guests struggling with their doors, as you could hear loud bangs when other guests were coming and going. The bathroom shower curtain was stained yellow with soap scum and the tub was visibly dirty. There were BUGS in the bathroom area and we could not eat food in the room because it attracted large amounts of tiny aunts that were everywhere. We could leave nothing open, keeping our bags tightly closed and shaking out the bed blankets and towels before use. The “breakfast” that is advertised as included is laughable. It’s a banana, muffin, yogurt tube, juice, and two slices of stale bread all thrown in a brown paper bag. Our room was only “cleaned” once during our 6 night stay. And by cleaned I mean they made the bed and put two towels in the bathroom. After that, every evening upon return to the room nothing had been done with it. We had to change our own garbage and grab our own towels off the maid trolley when we could. To be honest we spent as little amount of time in the hotel room as possible, and when we were there, we did not feel comfortable as a result of the issues noted above.

The property was a complete fraud. This place was not a hotel and more of a hostel that was unclean, unsafe, a complete misrepresentation, and dirty as can be. We have photos of how dirty and disgusting it was. We could not even stay, we felt so unsafe we left right away.
