We loved having an authentic Danish experience while staying at the hotel. We could have stayed elsewhere in a hotel that was like any other hotel but this hotel has an interesting history. Plus the property is gorgeous! The front desk staff were great!

Superb hotel, extremely kind and accommodating staff. Loved the breakfast, free bicycle use, beach towels, beautiful garden and walking trails. Dinner was of good quality and reasonable value, especially the wine. The hotel is well positioned relative to the town centre and swimmable Almind Lake.

Location in park like setting very desirable- still very close to center of town. Nearly adjacent to Aqua and Jorn Museum. Grounds just lovely, tranquil. Rooms attractive though small. Hotel restaurant food only sampled at breakfast, but was good. Lovely terrace for breakfast in good weather.

We stayed for one night and could not have been happier with our stay. Reception was friendly and helpful, and unlike many other Scandinavian hotels, we had a queen-size bed, not too separate ones. Yes! Clean and comfortable rooms and probably the best breakfast buffet I have ever seen. Everything you could ever require from the best of Nordic tradition accompanied by a perfect, panoramic view of the garden and the trees. Wonderful place, can't wait to visit again.

This is a beautiful hotel throughout. Room was lovely as was the dining room and common areas. The staff were very helpful. We borrowed bicycles for a few hours and did some beautiful bicycling around the lakes. The breakfast was very high quality.
