This is a great hotel for a layover, right next to the Stansted airport and train station. Outstanding breakfast, gym, and internet tv. Good value to stay at during the high season and take train to London or Cambridge and tour.

The bed was one double mattress on an old wooden base which creaked with every move making it a very uncomfortable bed sleep and night!
The shower head leaked water from the flexible handle making it difficult to wash,

Room was good. The main double bed was very comfy, however the ‘camp bed’ could do with replacing. Very noisy and not comfortable.
Breakfast was good - but shame the hotel no longer serve marmite!

Given that this was a great stay as always (this was my third time staying here). It pains me to leave a two star review overall.
Before I checked out I realised my phone was still in my room. So, I went to go and get it. As I got to my room I found that the room was already opened by the cleaners and my phone had been taken to storage.
I got my phone back no worries but find it strange that, that had happened before I'd officially checked out of my room.
Because of this I can't really recommend people stay here due to privacy concerns. Which is honestly a shame as the room/front of house staff were fantastic.

This hotel was perfect for our early morning flight from Stansted. Parking was very easy and only a short walk to the terminal for our early morning flight. The staff were friendly. A continental breakfast bag was provided for us as we were leaving the hotel at 3.30am. Our 3 rooms were booked last minute and were actually all next to each other which is never guaranteed. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel provided exactly what we needed.
