Great but as our room was at the front the traffic woke us up from 5 am

Surprisingly spacious quiet room and bathroom. In centre of Ilkley so next to all shops and restaurants. Nathan,who was check in staff, was polite cheerful and very helpful. Enjoyed my stay

The hotel is in a great location in the center of Ilkley, staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate and had everything you need (including a coffee machine). Cooked Breakfast was excellent. Parking was limited but its right next to a large pay and display

Friendly helpful and professional staff great overnight stay in a lovely town

This is a great hotel/pub in an excellent location in the centre of Ilkley. The landlord and his staff were all super friendly and could not do enough for us. We were given an upgrade on our rooms, and were allowed an early checkin despite the place being really busy for Mothers Day. Breakfast was particularly good - especially the scrambled egg and three-pan-omelette - highly recommended if you’re staying here :-)

Could not fault anything room and breakfast was lovely. Very helpful manager assisted us with our early check in and car parking. Would definitely recommend 👍

Lovely staff but was unaware that the place is not ‘manned’ at night which made me feel a little vulnerable The meal options were ok but very ‘pub food’ which is fine so long as you know that beforehand On a positive note lovely room and convenient location but WiFi not great

We stayed here as a couple but also as part of a larger family group, including my niece and nephew (12 and 8 respectively). Our room was the Illingworth room. It was huge, facing out across the road to the lovely old church. Road noise was minimal and the bed extremely comfy with good pillows which were not too soft, perfect for us. We slept well. En suite was well laid out and tastefully decorated. A few hangers were on a rail for our clothes and a hairdryer, iron and ironing board were also in the room. Tea (Yorkshire) and coffee facilities included a coffee pod machine, a kettle, tea bags, decaf coffee sachets and the usual milk pots and sugar/sweetener. My only suggestion would be to have a couple of normal coffee sachets in addition to the 2 pods. I had a cup of tea but would have had coffee if there had been sachets. Breakfast was included and a good selection of cooked items, cereal, toast, yoghurts and fruit were available. I ended up having sausage, egg, and beans as well as a slice of toast with jam. There was tea and proper coffee to drink as well as apple and orange juice. We all agreed that everything was delicious, including the kids, with the 8 year old demolishing the kids full english. We honestly couldn't have wished for a more friendly and accommodating host. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Ilkley.

Great stay at the Black Hat, minor miss hap with the phone system meant i could not get in touch to find the parking. i believe its option 4 to get through the property. staff were lovely and welcoming, Jonelle (sorry if I have spelt that wrong) the house keeper was amazing and helped with my bags!
