The air conditioning did not work and I notified the front desk immediately. They would not refund my money, move rooms, or fix the issue and said “the manager is on vacation”

Mostly automated self service, but help is available. Breakfast buffet at Roasberg is excellent.

I love this hotel.

It was centrally located and very clean! It had all the amenities if you wanted to save some money and buy food and reheat it up.

Easy to check in and out, and to check luggauge - having computers keeps the price down. Help available when needed. Clean and comfortable beds.

The property is surrounded by a years-long major road construction project. Thus it is utterly inaccessible by car or taxi. This is not in any way communicated by the management. And there are no signs near the temporary "gangplank" to the hotel to indicate that one is going in the right direction. This complete lack of necessary communication is unacceptable! In my case, it resulted in two hours of wandering and an added taxi expense. Once inside, the hotel clerk was outstandingly helpful and friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. But the irresponsible behavior of the management cannot be forgiven or ignored. I must recommend not staying at this property!

Our stay was impressive! The room was clean the common facilities were well kept. Very clean. The washing machine. The kitchen. Highly recommended! Will stay again if I visit Helsinki in the future

A wonderful location to stay - with very easy links to market but also meeting venues.

Comfortable stay and central location Very good

I love the CityBox brand and stay here whenever I am in Scandinavia. The room was excellent - without frills (minimalist in design) , and very comfortable. Location was ideal with the subway access in the building, and teams stopping almost across the street. Lots of dining options in the area as well as a lovely cafe that had breakfast. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. My only suggestion would be to clearly identify when cleaning is scheduled. My stay was 10 days long, and cleaning happened twice.

Very clean and a great location to stay at. Rooms were tidy aha good for short stays. Shared kitchen was great for breakfast and dinner.

A nice clean new hotel

A very new, great hotel, ideal for what we needed, great rooms, comfy bed and pillows, plenty of space even in the 'small' rooms. Clean, tidy, friendly and helpful staff/hosts. No TV in rooms which is no issues, good WiFi, communal area comfy seats a table tennis table, and a large kitchen, with coffee machines (pay to use, €2.50) for a variety of coffee, kettles, toaster and microwaves for guests to use to make their own breakfast, fridges for people to store their fresh food/drinks - just label 🏷 it as instructed. There's a lidl not far from the Hotel to get what you need for breakfast or suggtions to eat. About 20-30minutes walking from city centre or about 5 minutes on the Metro. 100% recommended and would stay again if in Helsinki, and will use the chain again if visiting other locations with CityBox in it. Hotel does recommend places to eat, and many you get discount with your room card, between 5-20% depending on the place, juttutupa was one place which is also highly recommended.

Bed was a little too solid for me personally, but the hotel was great. Self check in service and good location. The kitchen area was helpful. Great stay

Great hotel.

Staying here was simple and straightforward. It was close to everything I wanted to do and it was quiet.

Nice new hotel with train station, buses and trams all nearby. Also walkable to the centre and port. Room was small, clean and basic. Ideal for short stays. Would recommend.
