This is my second stay here. As an architect, I truly admire how the space is being humbly designed. The owner was also very friendly! Our room was always clean every time we came back and obviously what deserves 5 stars is the ambiance! Will definitely come back again.

The check in & check out process is very fast, the staff is very friendly. Even though it's only a guesthouse, the rooms are very comfortable. There is a small garden in front of the room. There is wifi, shared kitchen & refrigerator, coffee/tea too. Very helpful for families on holiday with small children.

The place is beautiful, Balinese-style, and very clean. I complained several times about the bathtub, but the response was very quick. The atmosphere is perfect for relieving stress from work. I'll definitely be back when I go to Yogyakarta again!

The best guesthouses I’ve stayed at. It’s a bit far from the city center, but peaceful and relaxing. Super affordable, honestly didn’t expect this much for the price yet but comes with so many facilities. Love the big outdoor bathtub and a comfortable dining area with a view.

A comfortable and spacious guesthouse villa feels like coming home to my grandpa's house in Jogja and the villa owner is very friendly. I will stay here again if I stop by Jogja city and the toilet is spacious and aesthetic.

1. The owner reminded me to check out. It was past 11. I didn't know the check-in time was 11. The standard check-in time for accommodations is 12. This accommodation had an unusual check-in and check-out time. Checkout time was 11, check-in time was 3. The reason was because I was afraid of guests after I complained. Then, he said it was on Traveloka, but not all customers read it because the standard check-in time for accommodations is 12 noon. So I had to frantically pack and load my things into the car, feeling like I was being kicked out. 2. Oh, and after I gave him the bowl, there was no thank you. All the reasons were because he was afraid of guests, afraid of this and that guest. He forgot I was also a guest, and I could complain too. 3. There were lots of bats in the kitchen at night, so it sounded like a crow's voice, and the kitchen was dark and poorly lit. REALLY BAD HOSPITALITY, MAYBE THIS OWNER SHOULD LEARN HOSPITALITY FIRST. Don't open a guesthouse, But saying thank you, sorry, please seems very difficult.

1. I broke four bowls. At the time of the incident, I apologized repeatedly to the receptionist and said I would replace them. Just let them know how much I had to pay (he said he was the owner). But the owner curtly replied that I had seen the CCTV. That made me feel like a thief. Why did I have to show off so I could see the CCTV? If he couldn't answer, it's okay, ma'am. I'll help you clean it up. 2. I needed bowls for my family and I for dinner. I asked, and she said they would be delivered to my room. 3. Then my mother asked again and said they would be delivered. Then I sent a WhatsApp message and she said they were in the cupboard. After waiting so long, why didn't you tell me upfront that the bowls were in the cupboard? Why did you promise to deliver them to my room? 4. The next day, the owner gave me a total bill of 368,950 for the bowls I purchased online. I checked carefully, and it was the same as the 30 bowls I had replaced. Wow, I broke 4. Why did I get 30? It felt like an opportunity in a pinch. So I decided to go on my own rather than replace them. Because I checked the price of the bowls, they were only 10,000-15,000 rupiah per piece. 5. The owner asked me to replace 5 bowls, even though only 4 were broken. The owner told me to hurry up and buy the bowls, claiming they were out of stock and that other guests might want to use them. This disrupted my vacation schedule, making it all messed up. I had to cancel my morning plans because I was only given until noon. My hope was that when I returned to the hotel, either in the afternoon or evening, I would bring the bowl with me. But this wasn't the case. I was actually given a time limit to return the bowl. He thought I was just going to Yogyakarta for fun, with no agenda, right? Just to waste time?

Komoreya's location is on the side of the road, quite easy to find. Comfortable (the vibe is like visiting a friend's house), cool, quite calm. Sitting around drinking coffee in the 'living room' area is fun. There is a dispenser in the living room area (coffee, tea, available). There is a small kitchen that can be used. I am interested in the shape of the Komoreya building. The place is easy to find even though there is no sign, because it feels like it is Arabic from the photos seen from the reviews. The staff is helpful and friendly, the room is comfortable, spacious and fragrant. Very homey, the surroundings are also super comfy.
