I stayed for 6 nights. The staffs are very nice and helpful. No lifts available, so you might need help with your luggage if your room is at the upper floor. Check in is around 2pm local time, but you can check with them first, if your room is ready, they might allow you for early check in. The room is ok, but the towel is quite old and worn out. Be sure to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste and shampoo. Heater, air conditioning and tv are working fine. No kettle/boiler, but maybe can check with the staffs. The location is quite strategic, around 500m walking distance to nagoya mall, around 2km-3km to harbour bay international ferry terminal, lots of alfamart/indomaret nearby, pharmacy (apotik), food stalls, easy access to get taxi and grab services. The price for one night stay is really cheap compared to other hotels in batam. Mine is around myr35/idr100.000 per night, standard room for 2 persons at 3rd floor, on january 2020. SP Hotel
A pleasant stay at the Batu Aji SP hotel! The condition of the room according to the photo, even large enough for 2 people. There are basic bath amenities (dental kit, soap, towel). the condition of the public area is clean, the lobby, corridors and restaurants are clean. Breakfast is very simple, there are only 3 types of food (noodles, fried rice, toast and fruit). very strategic location, right next to the sp plaza. The staff is also friendly. Highly recommended for those who want to stay in the Batu Aji area at a cheap price!
