Location quite far from the main street, far from restaurants and mini market. During the two days I stayed at the villa, the electricity went out twice, and they didn’t have a generator for backup. And when the electricity went out in the first day, there was no emergency lamp, but after more than 45 minutes, the bill boy come with the small emergency lamp.

Positives: Place was beautiful and size of the whole villa was perfect for my family of 7 with 2 complete rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Pool depth/size was also just nice for my kids. We could easily monitor the kids from the outdoor kitchen. Although the location was not exactly near Malioboro, it was still a manageable distance especially if you have a driver. On days where we stayed in, we ordered from Grab Food which was very affordable. There is a villa caretaker staying right beside the villa and is always very attentive and helpful. Really appreciate his presence. Negatives: Too many insects/household lizards. We were watching tv when a lizard dropped from the ceiling!! I was traumatised. Understand that there are natural habitats surrounding the villa but maybe management can consider putting insect repellent near the outskirts of the house to minimise this issue. Toilets could also be cleaner. The sink drain cover was already rusty and the toilet door was squeaking.
