The room was spacious and perfect for a family trip. The location was also quite convenient — easy access to central Tokyo areas like Shinjuku and Tokyo Station. We loved that there were plenty of great restaurants and shopping centers nearby. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the in-house restaurant served delicious meals. Overall, it felt like a relaxing resort stay, and we’d definitely love to come back again.

The Sorano was an amazing two-night experience. We enjoyed an architecturally exceptional room, designed with attractive tile, wood and carpet, overlooking beautiful views of the large Showa-era park during the day and the city lights at night. The mornings' breakfast (three options) with thick bacon was fresh and delicious and our dinner in the top-floor Italian restaurant adjacent to the infinity pool was a delight (swimming in the infinity pool after dinner is not to be missed). The entire Japanese staff working at Sorano treated us with a warmth and kindness throughout our stay rarely experienced to this level of professionalism coupled with their perfect command of the English language. This stay was simply perfect.

great location and food was excellent but was not very helpful when I wanted to bring friends to the restaurant up stairs. no place to wait up stairs and they would not notify us when a table would be available. did not feel welcomed. not sure i will go back. too rigid and not helpful.

I took 15 minutes to check in because the staff couldn’t find my name. The use of the swimming pool and gym is not included; you have to pay extra for a spa pass to enter. Breakfast is also charged extra. There were only two bottles of water in the fridge, and additional bottles incur an extra charge. There was no toothbrush or amenities in the room, and requests for these items also require an extra charge. The room itself is nice, but that’s about it.

Probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! Late check out at 12 o’clock was fantastic, the pool and spa facilities are phenomenal. The city was very vibrant and modern. Would love to go back again one-day!

We had a wonderful 5-night stay here. The hotel and surroundings are exceptionally beautiful and well designed. The view from the room and balcony towards the park is spectacular. I cannot say enough good things about each and every one of the service staff, especially the front desk manager/asst director, who went out of his way to help us with advice and restaurants reservations etc. And just about everything we ate at Tachikawa was delicious. Thank you for the happy memories, Sorano Hotel.

This property opened after the pandemic and we have stayed twice. It is a new hotel so it is fresh and very stylish. The staff is very accommodating and although English is a second language (as it should be) each staff member goes out of his/her way to take care of your needs.

Very spacious room. Hotel is clean and well kept. BONUS, you have a view of Mt. Fuji from your Balcony. The shops around the area are pricy but a 5 min walk will get you to the more affordable shops. Its close to the train station, I suggest using the overpass as it connects to everything. Tachikawa is underrated location, Its location is central to Tokyo and Day trip areas.
