A hidden jewel. My wife and I stayed there with another couple after a few days driving through France and Belgium. We were looking for a quiet place to recharge and stayed in individual two bedroom units with a balcony overlooking the river. The staff was friendly and accomodating to our needs, in particular the manager Olivier Bedon. Definitely plan to stay there again.

Beautiful location at the river bank, very relaxed atmosphere. Room has all amenities - not very big, but comfortable and with a wonderful view. Great place for a relaxing hiking stay.

Great setting, very pretty location, excellent for walking. We had one of the lodges - good choice. Good parking. Friendly staff. Extensive breakfast range. Nice restaurant. If we went again, we would not choose half board because there was no choice and the main menu was excellent.

This place could be a returning one if they made guests feel at home. Most of the times I felt like I was an inconvenience, from checking in which I had to wait a long time while the receptionist ran around to a simple task as ordering a beer at the bar. Both guys the works the evening shift seemed very stressed on both days we were there. I stopped ordering drinks at their bar because of how they made me feel.. an inconvenience to them. Sorry but if you work in hospitality you should not feel and show stress as this makes guest uncomfortable. The place is poorly managed. The region is fantastic and I highly recommend choosing a better place, which I will next time.

I have been in many hotels,but here was the first one,where instead to say hallo they gave me a bill for some tax of 4 EUR, that that didn't know what is it for. Also it's suppose to be a 4 stars hotel but didn't find so many stars there...Just the place is beautiful

The hotel grounds were beautiful, and a great place to relax after several on the go days in the city. The staff were friendly, but I could tell it was frustrating to some that we didn’t speak French/German. A little Google translate got us through fine, and I don’t hold it against the hotel that my wife and I are only fluent in English. Our room was spacious and the shower area was really well laid out, especially if you’re tired of somewhat small European showers. The food in the restaurant was fantastic as well. Unfortunately, in our room the WiFi was practically unusable which put a bit of a damper on things. If you’re looking to relax and fall off the grid in Luxembourg, though, definitely spent a night or two here

Lovely setting and wonderful staff. The sauna area is nice but the exercise room doesn’t work at all. The restaurant is pretty good but a little pricey. The room was spacious and comfortable and well decorated. The most important aspect is the peaceful and beautiful location.

The Cocoon Hotel La Rive in Luxembourg is wonderful! The setting is idyllic, the staff warm and helpful, the rooms are nicely appointed and immaculate. The restaurant is fantastic; great low key and charming atmosphere, and the food is divine! The morning of my departure I needed to be on the road back to Paris fairly early and the restaurant didn't begin serving breakfast until 8:00 a.m.. I was directed to the next hotel located approximately 400 meters down the road which began serving at 7:00 a.m.; when attempting to pay I was pleasantly informed that the hotel was part of the Cocoon Hotel as well, and the delicious meal was complimentary. I highly recommend!!!

You had me a chess deck under the ruins of a castle on a flowing river with hiking through wild orchids, but then you added champagne and fresh fruit to breakfast of freshly laid eggs and rich coffee. If I die tomorrow it’s now ok.
