Mercure Chisinau Center Jazz Hotel

Great across the board. Staff super friendly from start to finish. Room was great and clean. Water hot and bed comfortable. Within a block of Chisinau city center so location is fantastic. This is my new hotel for Chisinau.

Very nice hotel, conveniently situated, great breakfast. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The only thing is they need to work on the smell coming from the toilet. We stayed there twice within a week and both times we had the same issue. It's a shame since we really liked the hotel.

Very clean and amazing service! The breakfast was superb. I will highly recommend it to everyone traveling to Orhei!

The hotel is really good. The service is excellent. I gave it good only because of the smell from the toilet. I think the building have a technical issue the smell is pushed back. The hotel management needs to sort it out

The front desk staff were always lovely in helping me get to my meetings and arranging my taxi needs. The hotel is nice and well priced if you are looking for a decent stay for a business trip or short vacation in Chisinau. I had a weird run in with house keeping barging in one morning but otherwise the dtay was pleasant.

I was disappointed with this hotel, and it was the worst hotel in my whole trip. The first room I stayed in had lots of issues: The hairdryer was not working. The door was not locking. There was a horrible smell coming from the toilet. I complained, and they changed me to another room which was much smaller, and also had a sewage smell in the bathroom. The breakfast is very limited and not in line with the money I paid for the room. You would expect 4-star treatment and end up with 2-star facilities. I would never stay here again. There are much better hotels nearby at lower prices.

The hotel was pleasant functional and clean. Currently undertaking renovation that has moved the reception and the good views are not available.

Well price, nice hotel. More attention to detail would be good. Curtains didn't fit the window and kept falling off the rails. Breakfast could be better. More choice and more substantial would be nice, but that is just an English culture thing..

The hotel is nice, the rooms are fine. Although the lift is the slowest lift I have ever been in. Some of the reception staff were a little unwelcoming, a bit grumpy - a smile would help. I was made to feel an inconvenience asking some of them for help. My room was very cold, I mentioned it twice and nothing was done until the third time After another cold night, I had to insist on something being done. I was eventually given another room which was fine. My towels were not changed, so when I returned to my room on Thursday evening I had dirty wet towels on my bathroom floor. I had to ask for them to be changed. When I returned that night, new towels were on my bed, but the wet dirty towels were still on my bathroom floor! Not great attention to basic detail. I was refused an invoice when checking out, with seemingly little effort to provide a solution, which caused me inconvenience and time to try to request one when I arrived back in the UK Here's the email response I got, which makes little sense to man nor beast. Hello Mr Paul, Sorry for the inconvenience , But you booked your reservation on hotelbeds,so the invoice is on 0, We can*t give you any invoice,just on the price 0! Have a nice day! I would stay again, but it would have to be a hugely improved service for me to stay a third time and beyond. I will be traveling to Chisinau frequently in 2023.

Perfect location in the middle of the city. Close to all. Beautiful view from the room. Very friendly staff and always available. Very rich breakfast. Highly recommend it.
