Kathena Lifestyle Hotel – Do not be misled by the hotel’s good location and nice architecture — everything else was a disaster. The air-conditioning in our room was not cooling the room despite 40°C heat outside, and staff not only failed to fix it but made it worse by switching it to heating mode. Their lack of basic competence left us with the most uncomfortable night of our entire trip in Morocco. We cut our stay short and left early, yet the problems continued: the hotel charged us 220 MAD for a shuttle when a normal taxi costs only 40 MAD. This felt dishonest and exploitative. In short, Kathena Lifestyle Hotel combines poor service, lack of comfort, and unfair practices. There are far better and more trustworthy options in Marrakech — do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Very nice welcoming staff. Rooms were great and the breakfast was served with a smile. The area is decapitated and the hotel is hidden on a side st. Close to bazzar with cobras and monkeys.

So I will start with the staff. 10/10 absolutely brilliant and caring staff, they were helpful and kind and always had a smile on their face. Initially when we arrived they gave us a room with a king size bed when we requested 2 single beds but upon asking they asked us to wait for an hour and it would be ready which was convenient because we had time to go get dinner as it was late. In terms of the room its was spacious and however there was a few things about the room which we did not like. The shower did not have a door or a net it was like a open shower which meant that water would drip onto the main floor of the bathroom. Also there was no windows in our room or toilet which was not ideal because at night it would get hot and the AC was not great at keeping the room cool but i dont khow if it was because of the temp of the country itself or the AC. The jacuzzi was a nice touch and used it a few times , you have to let the staff know 2 hours in advance to warm it up but even then it did not seem as hot as a jacuzzi could be and it was not the cleanest but that could be because it was on the roof so open to flys and pieces of leafs. Location wise it was extremely ideal, literally a 5 minute walk to the main markets shops and for any excursions we booked externally the meeting points where a 5 minute walk max and compared to the other riads ( morrocon hotels) it was not secluded and felt extremely safe.

Family trip. First time in Marrakesh. Great location and delicious breakfast!

Really welcoming and nice riad. The host was excellent, kind and always polite. Breakfast was great every morning and he was very helpful with any questions we had. Our rooms were cleaner daily which was very nice too, would definitely recommend

An incredible jewel in the Medina. Extremely clean, gorgeous architecture, very comfortable bed and luxurious bathroom! We received a welcome drink and snacks on arrival and the staff treated us like family. The breakfast was delicious and extremely generous. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Lovely Riad in a quiet location just a few mins walk from Jemaa Al’Fana. Really hospitable staff with excellent gluten free catering too.

The property is based on a typical riad , but has been turned into a far more modern version. The staff are professional, the breakfast is great , and the quality of the rooms is fantastic, very large room , fully furnished , no problem with hot water or the cleaniless. It was very very clean . The riad is also very quiet , I would definatly reccomemd if you want to stay in a riad but also like your more modern lifestyle.

Great riad in the heart of Medina. You are only a 15 minute walk from most tour meet up's, food, shopping and drinks. Less than a 30 minute ride from airport. The ac wasn’t working and the beds should have been a double vs single. The manger fixed everything the next morning. Breakfast is included in meal which is different everyday and very good. Great location, staff and amenities. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but it worked. I would stay here again - felt very safe and easy to navigate the area.

Very welcoming riad, in an excellent location for exploring Marrakech. Near enough to all the sights, yet quiet and away from the noise and crowds. Very helpful owners. Tasty breakfast. Clean rooms. Late check out appreciated. No hard sell for tours, etc.. All in all, a perfect riad in a beautiful city.

Nice big room, courteous and respectful staff, great location

We arrived before check in 5pm - room was ready. Was pleased with that. Beautiful rooms! we went as a family! They put us next to each other! Location - Across the road from shops and away from the hussle which is good - 5 -10 mins walk from market and the mall are all pretty close by Facilities Shower was very good and hot if needed Bed was comfortable I paid about £270 for 4 nights - I think it was worth it. The breakfast is served to you so they bring out egg and toast! There was no cats and dogs All the staff are so welcoming and lovely

Really nice for the price. A short walk to the square and they were very helpful in giving us directions and setting up our ride to the airport. There was some construction going on next door, but it didn't bother us at all. The terrace was a great place to enjoy our morning breakfast.

Good stay. The staff is amazing and go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. They also arrange for pick up and drop from airport at reasonable charges- which is great if you are arriving at late hours. The place does need a little ‘love & care’ though. Breakfast and decor around central pool can also be improved. Bathroom shower isn’t too great either. The location is great though, close to central square, yet at a quiet spot.

Simply put a great location with excellent staff, rooms and food. Overall one of our best experiences while in Morocco!

The experience was great. The service was incredible, the food was simple and tasty, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was right in the middle of all the sites we wanted to see. Shout out to Astin, the host, for being so very welcoming and accommodating. He really made our trip comfortable with the Riad Tahili like a second home during our stay.

Good place to stay frankly for the money good location
