Downtown Room In Canal District

Great Location and nice sized room. Being an older property as well it means you can hear everything. Very stylish overall and mostly clean with a bit of dust here and there... only thing that let it down for me was some staining on bedsheets red pen and a blood stain. A cracked table and the drain was a bit smelly when you turned on the hand held shower. Easily fixable but I am not one to complain

Frustrating having to call 30 mins before arriving to be told if late would’ve charged more after 9pm . Being told to give a correct time when don’t know area and not easy to find bad enough but to be charged a late arrival charge is a joke . Only recommend if have a early flight to Amsterdam. Lady who came with jets was polite.bedroom nice but bathroom steps were unsafe and dirty towels were left from previous guest

This is an excellent location, the staff are super friendly and Philippe is an excellent host. The place has a 5 star contemporary modern set up, if you are looking around Amsterdam look no further ! Thanks for making it a memorable stay !!

We loved the ability to come and go at ease and the great location of the property. It was within walking distance of all great tourist sights and hidden gems.

Nice room high ceilings look better than the picture, the room that faces the street gets some noise from the occasional cars and bikes passing by or upstairs, no double glass window. Big comfortable bed, new and nice artistic decoration. The only issue as mentioned in another review is the communication. Make sure you have a phone that works in Amsterdam because that the only way to communicate with them. The check in was confusing she mentioned to text them half an hour before arrival which I did but when I get to the station she said it will be ready in an hour so I went to get some food after 15 min she called me saying the guy with the keys is leaving now hurry up. When I arrived then they realized they sent the guy with the key to the wrong address so had to wait 10 min for him. The worst part was that the heaters weren't working when I arrived it was cold inside the room and I tried to call someone to fix it but they kept giving me different numbers and the last one wouldn't answer or pick up, so after making 6-7 failed phone call attempts and being frustrated and sitting with the jacket in the room finally they sent someone after hours late night he said it will be fixed but woke up in the morning from the cold! Again call them several times and finally the owner showed up and fixed the issue. The heater switch is for the whole building so if they set it low your room won't get any warmer than that. Otherwise great location and cute artistic house high quality
