Booked last minute and was delighted by service, large clean room, with a beautiful view. Linens amenities all great.

Nice hotel, however the toilet in our room continuously ran, it was like water torture so we had to make sure the bathroom door was closed. The headboard has lights built in, however if you look at the indent between the wall and the headboard, the area is filled with dust (my daughter found this out exploring). The mattress is ok, not the most comfortable. AC in Europe just isn’t the same as home in the states. Also the gym doesn’t have wet wipes to sanitize equipment. The hotel is a 20 min walk to the historic area, however 10 minutes of this is walking by the central train station and a mall. Nice hotel, friendly staff.

We had a connecting family unit on the 12th floor. As we walked in, one of the two connecting rooms had a very strong musty smell. We complained to the reception and they were above and beyond accommodating. They took me to look at the same set of rooms one floor below, but it had the same musty/damp smell. The manager then took me to another set of rooms on a different side of the building, but one of those rooms smelled like sewer. At that point, I decided to stay in our initial room because there was no sense in changing one stinky room for another. I had a very poor sleep because the strong smell kept waking me up, and at the same time I got stuffy nose. When that happened I knew it was mold, upon closer look I found a lot of mold around windows (pictures attached). Real health hazard!!! So the second day, we informed the reception. Again, the amazing staff helped us find different rooms, and provided us with the breakfast voucher. However, one of the new rooms still had some sort of smell, and unfortunately having experienced how unsafe the place is in terms of air quality, I could not enjoy my stay. The reception did tell us that they experience problems with sewer smells, but assured me that no one ever complained about the mold. I just don’t see how this could be true provided the large overgrowth of mold on the walls. So, despite the amazing staff and great location, I will not be returning to this hotel, unfortunately.

Best place near central bus, train and trams station.Big mall nearby. Excellent food and service at hoter restaurant.

Nice hotel

We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast buffet had lots of delicious options, check-in was quick, luggage storage felt very safe, our rooms were well-appointed and the floors were quiet. The only negative would be the torn pleather headboards on the bed. Looks like a cat got a hold of them. For such a nice looking hotel, they should be tended to.

Stayed here many times and always enjoyable. The only complaint this year was the mattresses. Very hard and uncomfortable. Didn’t sleep very well unfortunately.

Great hotel! I can’t say it’s located in the best or the most happening area of Utrecht but everything else was fantastic.

Heel fijn verblijf. We waren ‘gast van de dag’ dus kregen een grotere kamer en ontbijt. Ontbijt was heel erg goed. Een buffet met heel veel opties. Het hotel is schoon en nieuw en kasten maar service was perfect

Excellent staff and room! Little candies offered, and tasty water on a heat wave hitting Netherlands. The only issue to speak of was that during this heat wave the AirCon could only reach a maximum low temp. of 18 degrees. -This issue isn't something that's going to impact others, given the heatwave, but it made things in the room sweatier than we expected. 🙏 Great experience!
