Very poor experience. We made our reservation two months in advance and it was already paid, but upon arrival, it was not in the hotel’s system. After waiting over 20 minutes while they tried to locate it, they finally gave us a room key — but it turned out to be an occupied room. When we returned to the front desk, they offered us another room, but it was much smaller than the one we had booked, and they said it was the only one available. We had to change hotels that same night and lost our paid reservation. Fortunately, Hotels.com handled the situation professionally and issued a full refund, but the hotel’s poor organization and lack of accountability made the experience very stressful. I would not recommend this hotel.

The location is great. Parking is right on premise. Good breakfast. The only issue we had that I asked for a double bed and our room had 2 singe beds. I asked front desk person to change the room and the answer was “Things happen, this is how it will be”. He did not give us a different room. I can’t recommend this hotel because of this receptionist.

The property is outdated. The rooms have very old interior and furniture. No water or coffee/tea in the room which was a surprise. Checkout is at 10 am. The sauna wasn’t available. Not worth it.

Somewhat dated but nice property. Beds are very soft and tub/shower had no curtain or way of blocking shower water. Check-in staff could learn to advise wifi password at check-in....

Hotel Gold is in a lovely location in the park and I think if we had stayed elsewhere we would have missed a highlight of our stay ie to walk along the river in the park. Beautiful! The hotel was clean and staff pleasant. The bathroom was good, there was plenty of space but the beds desperately needed renewing. As is normal in this part of the world, breakfast was basic but the restaurant serves authentic Czech food.

location was nice - situated alongside the river with the beautiful park in te back. however, you do need a cab to the hotel if you have luggage as it is at the opposite end of the entrance if arriving by bus or train. the hotel is very quaint inside, the food was good and the desk clerk was very helpful. great hotel
