K-Grand Hostel Gangnam 1

Whenever I come back to Seoul , I would love to stay here again. The only negative thing is no elevator so if you have a lot of big luggages probably consider about it.

Easy access to shoping area. Convenient location.

The room assigned to us was on the 4 floor and the hotel did not have an elevator no help to bring the suitcases to the room

It was the worst hostel I've ever experienced, and it's a waste of giving me a horoscope. Please never stay here. Please delete this place from the list even in Expedia.

Everything was great except a lift

From the moment you walk in the door, you’re hit with a very strong smell of sewerage. It followed us all the way up to our 3rd floor room & even inside our room. Upon questioning the receptionist, she told us she was sorry but this was normal. She later bought some incense up to our room. Whilst a polite gesture, it did little to mask the smell. It did not change for our two nights there. We also had to put down a towel over the drain in our bathroom as the smell was too overpowering to shower. Definitely would not recommend unless you enjoy the smell of faeces.

Very good in terms of value for money. ONe thing i would say is that layout of shower and toilet may be improved in order not to make inside get too wet.

I stayed there recently as I had to attend a doctor nearby the next day, and meet up with my a friend. The room was basic but good. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and functional. I was a little bit confused by the TV with no remote control, and no chair for the desk in room. There were also stains on the bedsheet, but it had clearly been washed so I do not care really. Staff was friendly and didn't seem to mind my late check in. Even gave detailed instructions on how to check-in should I come late. Overall it was a great stay!

Very helpful and nice staff! There are many delicious restaurants right next door. Subway is just an arms length away! Beds are extra warm and comfy. Excellent choice if you are staying in seoul for only a few days.

The front desk guy is friendly and very helpful.. This hostel room is kinda small but comfy. Location was quite noisy because it's in a busy small street. In Gangnam area, it is walking distance to metro and shops. I would recommend this hostel.

Had a great experience in the guesthouse as it was so close to sinnonhyeon station & therefore close to everywhere. There's a GS25 a few blocks down & there are loads of places for skincare, food and entertainment! The staff were really nice and ready to help whenever they could. They have a hot & cold water filter in each floor which is really no convenient if you want coffee anytime of the day or night. P.S. I definitely recommend 'Kyochon Chicken' for fried chicken, which is right near the back of the guesthouse.

There is no elevator but the room is on 5th floor. The staff helped me carried my luggage up though. The air conditioning is great. Many TV channels available in the small TV. The room was not cleaned and sheets not changed during my 6 day stay. Really small and because my luggages are big, I have no room to walk. But still doable for a cheap price in Gangnam

Our first impression of this accommodation was fairly positive with the friendly welcome from manager Kim. The air condition in the room was cold, the hot/cold water dispenser outside the room was a great and it is located in the centre of the city - sadly, that is where the "Premium" rating ends for this accommodation. It was unfortunate due to the time of the year when the summer heat combined with the poor drainage system in Gangnam area caused extremely foul air to find its way into the toilet and into our room. The next issue we found that the room wasn't properly cleaned with a glaring patch of brown stain on one of the white bedsheets and plenty of dust and hair under our beds. Finally on our third night in, a large cockroach appeared on the wall, which rudely startled my girlfriend who let out a loud scream! We complaint to manager Kim the next day who kindly apologized profusely and offered to provide one night's worth of refund. Despite all the above we enjoyed our stay as we were out most of the time exploring the the shops and restaurants around the city! (P.S. we wouldn't recommend having breakfast in K-Guesthouse Premium Gangnam) -Joshua

No elevators. One small towel allowance. A simple continental breakfast wasn't ready at 8 am when we went downstairs to eat.

The location of the place is unbeatable. Very near to the subway with less than 5 mins walk and it is along the gangnam and nonhyeon food street. Many 24/7 eateries and convenient store.

2 minutes walking distance to Sinnoyeon station which is perfect! There are many restaurants nearby as well so basically you don't need to worry about food. The only downsides about the guesthouse were they only provide room cleaning service once every 3 days and the towel is really small :(

The staffs are friendly and approachable. I had some cravings for some specific korean food and the staff googled it for me and printed me a map of the vicinity. He even recommended me what other side dish should I accompanied it with. The location of the guesthouse is great. It is near 24hrs convenience stores, Paris Baguette, and many restaurants. If you dont know Korean, you can approach the hotel staff for translation first. On top off that, it is near one of the subways which is extremely convenient for commute. The hotel condition was clean and decent. It was a bit cramp (but hey, it is a guesthouse. Can't expect too much on it).

This place was awful. The breakfast was a joke, the room was cramped and you can only get room cleaning if you stay three days. The worker wasn't always there so when I wanted toilet paper or a fresh towel I couldn't get it and upon checking out, the worker came up to my room to kick me out even though I still had time. Do not stay here, your money would be better spent elsewhere.

This is my 2nd time staying in this guesthouse, guesthouse staff was really helpful to answer my questions before I flew over. While I was a bit disappointed on the hygiene condition for the place. First time I stay was clean and comfortable. However, this time is not as good, from the maintenance of the room and the facilities provided. 1. Our rooms had never changed bed sheets for the whole stay 2. We need to request to clear out the garbage, they don't clean up the garbage everyday 3. The floor had been never cleaned during my whole stay 4. Dirty water leakage marks on the window stand 5. The fringe wasn't clean when we first check in 6. The water machine don't have hot water provided on the 2nd floor One thing I'm not happy about is during the 3rd day of my stay, I need to change from a single room to twin room due to my friend was joining. I accidentally left my own pillow case and neck pillow on the bed, and we went out to have lunch to wait for checking in again. 2 hours later, I told the staff about it and those things are already gone and disappeared, and couldn't be found. No one knows what happened to my stuff.
