Clean room, ideal location. Incredible breakfast. Check in process is very long winded, queued for 40 minutes.

We were a little disappointed with our stay. Most staff (reception and housekeeping) were not too friendly. The room configuration was not convenient - barely had a window, closet location and storage was not efficient, bathroom setup was inefficient - no door separating bathroom sink from rest of the room. If someone is sleeping while another person is using sink or showering, they might get woken up. Shower stall extremely small. Shower door opens into sink area so if someone is in front of the sink and someone else wants to exit the shower, the person in front of the sink has to get out of the way. (Maybe these things only applied to the room we received.) These, along with some other minor things make this hotel not feel like a nice 4 star hotel: soap and shampoo were of low quality and soap dispenser near sink and shower did not work easily; breakfast had a lot of choices and variety but was not stellar. Bed and pillows and bed linen not too comfortable. We requested a double bed but got 2 twin beds. We understand that the hotel was fully booked when we checked in, but staff had a dismissive attitude when we tried to request a double bed even the next day. Lobby is lovely.

Beautiful great place to stay

Clean room, excellent breakfast, ideally located along the river and convenient onsite parking but a bit pricey. Only negative was the bathroom sink didn’t drain properly and maintenance wasn’t able to clear it up completely during our stay but manageable.

Wish it had better area for smokers. Not convenient to be standing in front of hotel while smoking. Not pleasant. A smoking area would have been nice with some benches or something. Bar food needs work. More options for bar snacks. Same every day. Staff was great!!!

Very modern design and the lobby area is lovely. Unfortunately the rooms have been designed with that ridiculous blend of bathroom into the bedroom - e.g. there is no wall or door between the shower and bedroom area. This ridiculous trend started about 10 years ago and I’ve seen it across the world - thankfully I was alone in my room but don’t book here unless you want to shower and change in front of your room mate! Door to room is made of paper as you can hear EVERYTHING in the corridor.

Extremely rude front staff. The hotel did not inform us that we could not access the hotel by car between 10-11:30 pm due to several street closures for festivities despite calling them with questions about parking just 30 minutes prior to that time period. As a result we could not access the hotel until close to midnight. The staff then stopped in the middle of our check-in when a group of 7-8 flight attendants came in without an explanation and when I inquired why they had been so rude they just said it was hotel policy! In the middle of checking us in? Really?

The bed was very comfortable, staff was professional and kind and the bar was a great plus! Great walk ability!

Super nice hotel a shirt walk from Tye Guggenheim. Ina lovely neighborhood close to everything. This hotel is extremely clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. If I’m ever back in Bilbao I will stay here again.

A stylish and comfortable hotel in a lovely location close enough to all that Bilbao has to offer. Helpful staff too, would recommend.

Perfect location on the river between the old and new town. Hotel felt very new. Clean and comfortable. Fridge in the room which is a bonus. Would happily stay here again as a first choice when in the city next

Great location, easy access to transportation, restaurants etc

A very nice hotel, centrally located. Easy friendly check-in. We did early check-in at 9 am, for an extra charge of 30 Euro. Good in-room coffee service. Hot water. Room safe. We did have some trouble figuring out the A/C; during all my calls about getting it to work, they said the window needed to be closed. As far as I could tell it WAS closed, but when they FINALLY sent someone to help us, it turned out it was not 100% closed. After that the A/C worked, but it had a hard time keeping up with the outside temps reaching 98 F degrees. Thus, the room was still a bit too warm and humid.
