My stay here was excellent. I came with my girlfriend and had to check-in at 1am. The hotel messaged me weeks before and confirmed how to check in after hours. Everything went smooth, breakfast was really good and my room was comfortable.

Our rating is based on the apartment not actually the hotel as this was situated about 3 mins walk down the road !! The gated area looks pleasant with greenery all around the plants and palm trees are very nice , the apartment is very security conscious with barred windows internal blinds that shash up and down with internal straps that you need to pull out and towards you to then move up and down , there are doored windows inside them as well. Make sure you use mosquito repellent as even though we kept windows locked at night they still get in probably fly in when you in and out or the lovely cleaners have the doors open whilst they clean daily (be warned they use loads of bleach(they call chlorine) it can burn your eyes the strength so i would ask when you check in to explain to the cleaner not to use so they use a general cleaner , the toaster kept fusing out the electric so avoid using as we couldn’t get another one but the oven grill is perfect , the hob is a bit tricky but you work it out eventually (look for instruction book in one of the draws (we found days later lol) there is only 1 large and 1 small frying pan if you want but lots of pots of various bowls but not breakfast type bowl although we ate out every night as it’s reasonable ., it’s about 10 min walk into town but it’s a lovely walk !! We did have a few days of rain mainly at night some during the morning (3 hours of constant rain and lightening , look for dehesa Santa Maria only €2.50 a pint ! Nice beaches

This was my second visit and they treat you like one of the family. The room was very nice and the patio bar is lovely. A hot option at breakfast would be nice, but a minor thing. Breakfast is delicious anyway.

Total rip off. I had prepaid otherwise I would have backed out of the reservation. They charged an outrageous 30EUR per night extra for an additional person on a small crappy bed. Towels were stained and no bath towels were provided the first day. The entire property is engulfed in a cloud of moskitos and no effort is made to address that problem. Room was small, crammed, and noisy. Never again

I'd been meaning to try this hotel for years. Now I've done it. It's ok, that's all. WiFi is excellent. The breakfasts are ok, but lack variety. An evening glass of wine is cheaper in the bar of the four star hotel across the road. And I will be happy to return to Los Globos when I hear that bathrooms have been fully updated. I tried two, and both were very, very dated. And botched. Bedroom lighting is increasingly by those nasty cheap blue-light bulbs, ok perhaps in toilets and kitchens but not, for me, in bedrooms. Little things like door hinges and bolts are rusty, worn, and need lubrication. (No tittering please ;). If you are concerned about cruelty to animals, you may be a little dismayed: the hotel has a parrot, innocently imprisoned in a cage. It squawks catcalls and wolf-whistles. Some people like that.

The staff are good (particularly the Barman and the very helpful cleaners) the receptionist was a little bit disorganized. The overall hotel is very tired and needs a total refresh inside and outside, the rooms were a lot more basic than I had imagined (clean but very basic) for example the air conditioner was not working well, the doors didn't lock well, the bathroom basic with very cheap free toiletries (take your own) and while the bedroom was functional had the minimum of poor furniture and basic safe.

Stayed for two nights. Very helpful and friendly staff with good English. A 10 minute walk into the old town area. Plenty of free on street parking in the area around the hotel. Room was a bit dark and slightly tired but nothing that spoilt the visit and would consider staying here again.

The hotel manager was very kind and helpful! It was low budget but I got the rooftop room with a great view. Getting up and down with luggage was a challenge as it’s a narrow circular iron staircase. But we did it as a team !

Disappointing: We were allocated the "last" room which was the smallest room I've ever stayed in. The access was via an exterior steep spiral staircase from the drying area on the 2nd floor. The "room" (an add-on space on the roof) was small with nowhere to store a suitcase and just enough space to slip around each side of the bed. The outside space of the "room" was quite large with a comfortable double sun lounger and additional tables and chairs, but both the "room" and terrace needs some decorative upgrade. Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice of food, drinks, and bread. Parking can be difficult as the hotel has no car park, so it is necessary to park on the street. The street parking is paid on the sea front road and extends 1 street back, after which parking is free when you can find a space. The staff are friendly but the hotel has a tired appearance and needs generally updating. Mosquitoes can be a nuisance.

Very friendly staff, really good breakfast, fantastic location. The cleanliness in some areas was slightly compromised by the condition of the floors/tiling etc but the beds (we stayed in three separate rooms) were big, clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed. With a little updating, particularly in the bathrooms, Los Globos would be outstanding. As it was, we had a very enjoyable stay and would go again.
