Hotel Marquesa

Very convenient, and staff very helpful.

Old world charm, original building from 1800. Situated in great area of town for good shops, bars and restaurants. Hotel has lovely outside dining area, and inside dining for breakfast, which was varied menus.

Breakfast not good selection,room no air conditioning

Our weekend stay was excellent, The hotel was excellent for the trip. The staff very friendly and helpful. A couple of items required attention in the bathrom……fixed immediately.

Central location

A centrally situated hotel with character. Two negatives, beds by pool could not be adjusted and the breakfast quality could do with improving. However we would stay there again. Good value for money

Really liked hotel very clean and comfortable but food let it down food was cold bad service had to wait about 15min to get more bacon and eggs for breakfast toaster not working properly evening meal was bad nearly every thing swimming in oil cheap bad food it's a pity because the hotel has everything going for it except the food and the service I would stay again but bed only What a shame such a lovely old hotel with charm and history but unfortunately bad food and service This hotel needs to get their act together and serve better food maybe different management Here's hoping!!!!

Lovely quaint hotel in an ideal location by the old port. Would definitely stop there again. Take your own toiletries as they only provide small sachets (shampoo and shower gel)

Fantastic experience. Hotel had a lot of character, and amazing breakfast and dinner. Amazing location in the center of the old town of Puerto de la Cruz. I am so glad Hotel BotanicoOriental Spa & Garden didn't have availability. I spent two days at the 5 Star Botanico, then a week at Hotel Marquesa. I am giving Marquesa a perfect score, because they did many things above their star rating.

The hotel has great character and is based in a really good location with an abundance of bars and restaurants close by. The rooms were spacious but were a little warm due to the time of the year and no air conditioning. The bed was comfortable. We had both breakfast and dinner in the hotel. They had a large range of choices in a buffet style and represented good value for money. We also had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant in front of the hotel one evening. A wonderful German band was playing The rooftop pool is nice and refreshing after a long day of walking around. The only slight problem we had was finding free parking. We eventually found something around 15 mins walk away. We just decided to park up there each day. It was up the hill so was a good workout. Paid parking is available closer to the hotel. If anyone is looking for a quick 20 minute COVID test for flying, we used Eurofins megalab which is a short walk from the hotel. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Lovely historic hotel. The man on reception was very friendly and informative. Very clean, Good selection buffet breakfast and fried eggs cooked to order. Lovely views from rooftop pool.

A hotel of great character in a prime location. Great service.

Do not be fooled by the patio restaurant at the front, enter the hotel to a magnificent adventure in Spanish heritage and history with the age and architecture. Much bigger than it appears from the street and includes an adjacent newer building with a rooftop swimming pool and lounge chairs. Larger rooms, a breakfast with options and outstanding staff makes this top of the three stars, all with a fantastic central location that is a few footsteps from everything. Ask for Jose to experience a personal welcome and attention.
