Best Western Sjofartshotellet

The breakfast was amazing! Staff was very nice except for a young male staff at the reception desk. I spoke in Swedish, although American, I gave him the respect and pleasantry of speaking his language. When I asked a question about a word I didn’t understand, in Swedish, he responded back in a very rude way as if I was dumb to not know what the word meant. I don’t have a disability but if I had, how would that have been acceptable? I’ve lived and worked in Sweden previously although not now, for 3 1/2 years with Swedish friends and family, so I know rude Swedish when I hear it. Spoiled the experience for me. Also our room was right by a very heavily congested street on the first floor with no air condition. Had to open the windows for cool air, then had to listen to all possible transport vehicles with loud mufflers ALL night long, plus the exhaust from them was heavy in our room. Did not sleep well.

Spacious room and bathroom, very clean. Great spread for breakfast, lots of choice and good quality.

Old hotel, great parking, great breakfast. But room was tight. And hot, could not open window much. Street noise was kind of loud, too

Bad ventilation, couldnt have the window open beacuse of the trafficnoise.

Ok overnatting, men var litt varmt rom og mye trafikkstøy.

Hotellet var bra å det låg nära till resturanger å affärer. Det var ett bra rum, sängarna var jättesköna, men kuddarna var lite för hårda

Ett önskemål för ena rummet utan heltäckningsmatta andra med. Ta gärna bort mattorna för mycket frächare utan heltäckningsmattan. Annars super fin frukost. Bra bemötande av personelen

We stayed for one night as our destination was Gotland. Nice bed's and a very very good breakfast. It was also a quiet hotel. All in all what we were looking for...so value for money.

Det var en dag med +30 och vårt rum var som en bastu trots att vi kom närmare 20 på kvällen.

Frukostbuffén var fantastisk och personalen likaså.

Helt okej hotell för en natt, rent o fräsht, bra frukost, skön säng men otroligt små badrum, mer som en garderob vilket drar ned mitt betyg.

Tyvärr var städningen inte riktigt som förväntat. Det låg något i sängen som såg ut som kroppshår, och det var dammigt på golvet. Det kändes fräscht vid ankomst men inte när vi skulle gå och lägga oss. Städaren hette något i stil med Thaiwanda. Hoppas det kan förbättras till nästa gång!

Hotellet ligger bra till om man ska resa vidare. Helt okej för en natt! Mycket frukost men på liten yta.

Perfekt läge för oss som skulle vidare med färjan till Gotland tidigt på morgonen dagen därpå. Fin service med god och mättande frukostpåse vid tidig utcheckning. Gratis parkering nära hotellet.
