We were pleasantly surprised by Phi Phi Dream. The location is great -- far away enough from the party scene that it isn't too loud and you can get a restful night's sleep, but close enough to the action that everything is a short walk away. It's about a 10 minute walk away from the pier and 5 minutes away from the beach, which was great. Service was better than other places we stayed at in Thailand. The hotel staff were pretty friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and had everything we needed (soap in the bathroom would have been nice, but not a big deal). Note that they seemed to have pretty strict rules about what you are allowed to do in the room (no guests, no eating/drinking, and no loud noise) so it's not really meant for the partying type. But great for couples/families.

Hotel was great, very clean and house keeping everyday with clean sheets and towels. It's set back from the main tourist area so it's nice and quiet and still only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Right by the viewpoint too. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again!

Guests must transfer via boat to the property. Guests must contact the property at least 72 hours before travel, using the contact information on the confirmation received after booking. Ferry schedule from mainland: From Phuket to Ko Phi Phi (departing from Rasada Pier): 8:30 AM, 11 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 3 PM. From Krabi to Ko Phi Phi (departing from Klong Ji-Lard Pier): 9 AM, 10:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 3 PM. Guests must arrive at the pier at least 1 hour prior to departure as schedule may change based on weather conditions. Guests who arrive at Phuket or Krabi airport after noon will have to stay on the mainland and board the morning ferry to Ko Phi Phi.

Simply horrible. The bed is like a rock, it is impossible to have a decent night of sleep. It is noisy and freaking hot. We booked a double bedroom and got a twin. The bathroom is so small that you literally shower on top of the sanitany. The smell in the toilet is disgusting, the sink was leaking and the floor was always wet.
The only good point was the location, away from the crazy center.

Good size room but bathroom is a little small. Smells of either sewage or the cleaning soap they put in urinals. Wifi can be a little temperamental. Nice staff though and a good price compared to other places.

More like a nightmare. We have travelled to many places in many countries, including many Asian countries. This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed. Hotels backs onto the sewage channel. No amenities at all. The window does not lock so someone can easily climb into the room. I had to use my gopro selfie stick to lock the window. The safe used a small pad lock which could be cut easily. The room smelled of raw sewage. It is tiny and absolutely no closet at all. The wifi does not work. The computer they have was infected with virus. Shower is on top of the toilet. It was awful. Avoid this place like a plague. I would not go back even if they pay me.

Pleasant 3 night stay. Close enough to everything, but far enough away to be reasonably quite. Hotel quiet but some street noise. Friendly helpful staff. Very clean,including clean bedding and towels on 2nd day. Excellent tour office downstairs.

After waiting around 25 mins to check in, we were finally greeted by a moody Thai lady who ran the hotel. The hotel has a ridiculous amount of rule attached. No alcohol, no guests, you must remove you shoes outside and walk through the hotel barefoot.
The bathroom was tiny about 2 meters squared and absolutly stank of sewage. The toilet sat under the shower in the wet room so was always wet. The sink leaked all over the floor.
The location was off the Main Street but near the centre. The main bit of the room was a fair size.
I would not return to this hotel because of the bathroom. But if you are ok with that it is pretty cheap!

Worst hotel i ever stayed in this range of price. It's 1500 baht and i get ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in the room except two beds. The room wasn't that dirty neither clean, bathroom is super small and the hot water didn't work on the first night.
Neighborhood and distance from the pier are two downside for this hotel; you have to walk like 10 mins from the pier to get there plus the road was super bad. The hotel is located near pubs and nightlife places so it will be super noisy at night which will surely bothers your sleep. I can't blame the hotel tho.

The reviews for this hotel were quite good, which is why I stayed here, but I cannot understand why. The room itself was fine (although you need air con - cannot survive the heat with just a fan). The bed was hard as rock, but I can cope with that. The bathroom was awful - it stank and there was no separate shower so everything always got all wet and there was limited room. I had to wear flip flops to walk in there. It was also sooooo noisy, so was difficult to get a decent night's sleep. The wifi also didn't work for the two days I was there. On the upside, the staff were quite nice and it was only a 10 minute walk to the pier, a 5 minute walk to the beach and a few minutes walk to bars, restaurants and shops.

The room stinks. It was really terrible. After discoveing were the smell comes from i was even more shocked. They filled up the drain in the bathroom with lister blocks, those smelly things u find in a pub toilet!!
Apart from the room the location was great.

Not going to bore you with an essay, location was brilliant but major issues with staff who were unwilling to provide fresh linen and towels, tutted and had an attitude when we asked for fresh ones on DAY 3 of stay. Felt as though they tried to get as much money as they could out of us by adding on fees to laundry (almost double price for express which we did not ask for), complimentary bottles of water which we were charged for etc. Left a bitter taste, and would not stay here again

Hotel itself was great and even tho we had a fab room it was still not too warm in there. Staff seemed friendly at first HOWEVER, they make you take your shoes off and leave them in the porch area (fair enough other hotels do this too) but on our last day my partners £50 shoes had been stolen. When we told staff we were met with laughter and they offered no help at all! Ruined a nice stay on a very bad note.

It's not The Ritz but them again you're not paying for The Ritz. Rooms are keep clean although duvets were not washed before we arrived or during our stay. Staff are friendly. There are numerous posters with various rules are regulations around the place but it is easy going. All we needed was a bed and a shower. We went to Phi Phi to see the island not to stay in a hotel room. Beautiful little island.
