Nice place. Not big. Staff was very friendly, room were clean and comfortable

No tissues, shampoo or hair dryer. Even though we were told the place was just overhauled, the mattresses were like marshmallows. My husband slept on a cot that was provided the entire length of our stay! The room could have used an area rug to “warm” up the decor. Floor was very dirty. Probably hadn’t been washed since the place was refurbished. But the towels were very clean and soft. I would have given this place a lesser star but the location was the best part of our stay.

Upon arrival the lady at the counter was wonderful, check in was easy and fast. The room was not the newest but was expected as this motel is long established. The two full beds are old, mattresses need to be replaced as they have past their prime. The water pressure and temperature were great how ever the shower head was visibly broken. I did report it and a different lady at the counter seemed perplexed about how that could be. She said she would let the owners know. Overall the motel served it’s purpose, nothing exciting but useful.

No problem with check in. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and explained a few thing about the area. The room was very clean and had been recently updated. If in the area, would definitely there again

Value for money and adequate for one night. However, room very dated and basic. Bed small. Air con very noisy and paper thin walls so heard every sound from next door. Kelly on reception was excellent and breakfast in Hot Biscuit next door was great.

Easy to find and a really friendly, helpful staff. The rooms were very clean, but the bedding and mattresses had seen better days. The door thresholds were about a foot from the landing so “the first step is a doozy.” Soap is the only amenity in the room, but shampoo was available from the office. This is a motor motel, with doors to parking lot, but very safe-feeling.

We appreciated that they called us the day before to let us know if we couldn't make it by 9 that they would leave the key where we could easily find it. When we asked for ice, they gave us a bag from their own freezer. We were there for just one night, but we'd have been happy to stay longer. The pillows were firm (unlike the miserable 2 Hilton chains we just stayed at) and the beds comfortable. Shower was good, and I particularly liked that the shower mold had different levels for our bath supplies (soap was above and out of the way of the shower water, for instance--I haven't seen that before).

Attending the 10th Trekonderoga. The Star Trek Oringimal Series tour is only a 1/2 mile away. Breakfast place right next store.

Good value

basic place to stay. Clean. Nice employees. Fair price. We stayed in the suite which had a kitchen and a couch. We could hear the traffic go by a bit but we are accustomed to that so we unbothered. We were there for just 2 nights and hanging out with local family so we did not use the kitchen. Bathroom was acceptable and the shower water was hot and good pressure.

Great service, room always clean, good price point, only downside is room is a little out of date, but owners are slowly upgrading. If you are looking for a clean place to stay with great service this is a great option

Family of 3 stayed for one night. The motel is nicely positioned in the town and the room was clean. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable of the area. For the price this was a very reasonable room and was above my expectations. My parents stayed at the Best Western down the road and I'd say that their room was on par with ours, but our room was larger. My only call out was the shower, the wall paper (it was like a linoleum) around the outside/over the inside of the shower was separating and water seemed to creep up it from the underside when the shower was on. We didn't smell any mold, but if this isn't fixed I could see it becoming an issue in the future. We were in room 12.

The picture on the website with the front porch is not accurate. The motel portion is beside it, and would probably not seem appealing to someone searching a place to stay. This is an older motel, in dire need of being updated. Metal furniture, wobbly beds, a bathroom that you cannot even turn around in. Carpet, although vaccuumed, was nasty and in need of replacing. I was not entirely discouraged from staying here; but I can say that I probably would not and would probably not recommend to anyone else. Office staff was friendly.

We had an excellent night staying at this cute motel. Check in was easy and staff was very friendly. Our room was very clean and quiet. We will definitely be returning to explore more of the Ticonderoga area. Thanks for a great stay!
