The original room we received had a leaky tub faucets and was seemingly clogged as water was pooled in the tub. I called the front desk immediately and they sent someone to assist very quickly. They could not resolve the issues with a quick fix so they offered a new room with the same amenities. We were moved very quickly! My only "complaint" is no one offered to assist us with moving our things/luggage up to the 8th floor from the 3rd. No cart was given or assistance offered. Not a huge deal as we only had a small amount of things but I can imagine if we had large bags and such. Overall it was a nice stay and we would definitely return.

I've stayed here before and the hotel is consistent and dependable. It is overpriced for what you get, but there aren't many other choices in the area as convenient as this property. The hotel is clean and well staffed. The restaurant has inconvenient hours which caused me to go off property for several meals. The decor is dated, but ok.

Things were falling apart fridge made noise all day and night. You couldnt turn the heat on parking was an issue. You had ro park so far from feont door and can only get in 2 doors which are right next ro each other

The Long Island Marriott is conveniently located within walking distance of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. This is probably the best thing about this hotel. Due to its location, the nightly rates are premium priced, but the rooms and amenities do not justify the prices. My room was dirty. The shower grout had mold (black in color). The shower head valve had some white substance (hopefully soap) caked on. The bathroom floor was not mopped. The ironing board was literally broken, and almost fell on my foot once I opened it. The closet has some kind of access panel in the roof which was open, and is probably what caused the closet smelled like sewer. I had to hang my clothes outside the closet. The 3rd floor seems to be undergoing some kind of maintenance, as evidenced by ladders and paint cans in a corner, and they were mindful enough to display a "pardon our dust" sign. But when you are running a hotel and the floor is still being rented, don’t you have housekeeping clean the area at the end of the day? The hallway table with a phone was completey covered in thick dust. The bed was comfortable enough. +1 for Marriott. However, this hotel brings shame to Marriott. Motel caliber rooms should carry Motel prices. There’s no reason why I should pay over $300/night for a dirty, run down room.

The hallway and room had an odd smell like musty, we had trouble turning the water on, the switch was stuck and it had mold around it. The AC was not cooling enough. The blankets and carpet were stained. Some of the outlets did not work. The hot tub was out of service our entire stay. The pool didn’t look clean and it also smelt like cigarettes or weed. WiFi is not free in the room. The couch in the room was dirty. The front desk was rude. I asked for a receipt and she was upset she had to print it out and rolled her eyes as she walked away. Not a good experience at all.
