My Favorite Place-NYC-Shared Apartment

The apartment owners are lovely people who made us feel welcome and explained everything clearly. The bed was awesome, and the room and bathroom were very clean. The apartment building is nicely kept and the doormen were really friendly. For future guests - I did not understand that this would be a room in a small shared space with the owners present. The bathroom is across the shared hall from the guest room. The owners were respectful of our privacy in that they seemed perfectly comfortable with my going straight to my room with a smile but without conversation, which I appreciated, and as I mentioned, they are very nice people! But I do wish I had understood about the shared space beforehand.

It was spotlessly clean, in a newer building, and had its own tv etc. A very nice place and very convenient for Columbia University.

The room and bathroom were immaculate and the location was ideal for my purpose.

Warm and friendly hosts, lovely decor. An easy walk to subway stations for both the east and west side!

Carlos and Cesar are very welcoming but unobtrusive hosts. The bed is super comfortable. The breakfasts are wonderful.

Very enjoyable, good location, gracious hosts, and excellent breakfasts. But finding it was hard when we first arrived as the address on 116th street sent to us by Hotels.com did not match the correct address 1400 5th Avenue sent in an email by the owners - but we had not realised the discrepancy before our arrival.

The service was above and beyond, delivering local recommendations for food, entertainment. We were greeted in the middle of the night upon our arrival with bright beautiful smiles and warm hugs.

Cordial and accommodating hosts in their guest bedroom. Thanks for their help to My early arriving daughter. Would appreciate breakfast on all days of stay though.... This does not happen the last day...

The price was attractive for sure due to B&B, but we did not feel safe with the area especially night time. The time to serve breakfast is not flexible. We could not have breakfast at 9am for the first morning since we had to leave for guided tour. You need to be aware that they don't serve breakfast for check out morning.

Fabulous time. Cesar and Carlos we're fantastic and breakfast was incredible. Will stay again next visit!

My wife and I stayed here for 2 days while in New York and it was perfect for what we needed. We were out in the city the vast majority of our stay but Cesar provided a comfortable and clean room with a private bathroom. That is all we needed so it worked perfectly.

Die Unterkunft war super sauber und ist direkt an der 5th Avenue. Im Zimmer ist eine Kaffeemaschine und einen kleinen Kühlschrank, in dem schon ein halber Liter Milch für unseren Kaffee bereitstand. Es ist täglich eine Putzfrau da, die dafür sorgt, dass immer alles sauber ist. Die Vermieter sind super nett. Die U-Bahnstation ist gleich ums Eck, ca. 2 Minuten zu Fuß. Wir sind auch Nachts mit der U-Bahn unterwegs gewesen und wir hatten nicht einen Moment das Gefühl nicht sicher zu sein. Wenn wir wieder nach New York kommen, dann würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder hier buchen.

Es muy acogedor, con el personal muy amable y afable. Un desayuno increíble. Bien comunicado con el metro y bus y con supermercados cercanos.

Dejligt sted, god service og renligt...

Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig. Der Fernseher war sehr groß und hatte eine gute Qualität. Das Badezimmer war sauber und funktionell. Die Inhaber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war umfangreich mit selbst gebackenen Brötchen , Obst, Orangensaft, Tee , Kaffee, Wasser, Joghurt, Kellogs und Milch. Die selbst gebackenen Brötchen waren extrem lecker.

Hotellet är ett litet B&B som är i ett pars lägenhet. Dvs de hyr ut sitt gästrum och ni är de enda gästerna. Så det finns ingen reception där man kan fråga eller något ställe att sitta och läsa eller prata. Badrummet är privat och ni är de enda som använder det, men det ligger i korridoren. Sängarna går ner i mitten och är inte väldigt bekväma. Frukosten var utmärkt. De anpassar den efter vad du föredrar och den serveras 9 varje morgon. Vi bad att få den tidigare och åt 8.30 varje morgon. Rummet var inte stort och där fanns bara en stol vid det lilla skrivbordet. Läget är bra. Det ligger mellan två tunnelbanor och bussen går precis nedanför och det är bara något kvarter från Central Park. För de priset hade vi valt ett vanligt hotell istället, om vi vetat att det var ett gästrum.

Uitstekend, leuke plek vlakbij Central Park. Zeer gastvrij en ontbijt van wereldklasse.
