Staybridge Suites SIOUX FALLS AT EMPIRE MALL by IHG, an IHG Hotel

It was a nice hotel, nice outdoor area. The room was clean, however, the was a musty smell to it. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Wouldn’t recommend the continental breakfast, just the coffee.

Family Friendly, wonderful staff, great breakfast, nice big rooms.

Nice kitchen in the room and everything was clean.

Overall good value for money. Staff was especially courteous. Our room was comfortable & clean. The bathroom was very stuffy and has no exhaust fan, which poses difficulty when sharing the room with multiple people. The floors are pealing vinyl plank in both bathroom and kitchen areas. The thermostat in the bedroom does not work well.

The toilet was running and we called down to the front desk. They said no one could fix it until Monday and it was Saturday. We were only staying one night but you could tell from the floor in the bathroom that this had been an issue for quite some time, as the floor was warped. We had to turn off the water to it so it was running.

Called on the way there to confirm our room was on the 1st floor cause we had dogs, they said it was. Arrived 3 hours later to be told our room wasn't available. They gave us a different room on the 2nd floor which was fine. Then we got in the room, only to find It wasn't in the best of condition. The windows didn't shut all the way. So you could hear the highway all day and night long. The kitchen sink faucet was falling apart. The tubs didn't drain well. And the remotes for the TVS didn't work properly. Upon opening them found that the batteries were leaking acid in them. The night, before checkout. We asked to get a lake checkout for Sunday morning. Only to be told that a late checkout was not available for Sunday due to his manager saying so. The manager wasn't there, so I couldn't speak with him. He was just told he's not allowed to do it. I asked why he didn't know. I understand they want to have the staff out of there by a certain time on Sundays, but we've been going there for years. We stay there every time we come to town. We are rewards members, And they wouldn't budge, not to mention, it's almost $400 a night. I explained my dissatisfaction upon checkout, to the person at the front desk. They apologize and said there was nothing they could do.It's, it's the hotel, it's a manager. It's the company. I don't know, but for my money. I'll go elsewhere.

We were very pleased with our two stays over the past week. We were traveling out west from NC and stayed here on our way out and back. Would definitely stay here again!

When we travel anywhere that has Staybridge that is where we stay. Easy booking, checkin and checkout.

Great Hotel in a great a area. Close to lots of shopping and places to eat. Great parking and lots of area for dogs to go on walks. The interstate is a little loud, but you cant hear it in the hotel. And I kinda like the noise.

The hotel is suffering a little wear and tear, but is nice overall.

The beds were comfortable except for the pull out couch (you could feel the springs) but my kids didn’t seem to mind. The breakfast was very good with a lot of great options. The morning staff during breakfast were friendly and helpful.

One of the laundry machine wasn’t working. It was nice to have a small kitchen, 2 queen beds in a private room and a pullout bed in the living area. For the price it was of great value!! Breakfast had great selection.

Felt very safe, good location. Great breakfast, attentive staff all the way around. Trouble with flushing the toilet, I sensed trouble even from the first flush… As I am always very careful coming from a family of plumbers.
