Needs upgrade

The air conditioner in the hall was not working at all. It was so hot in the hallway. The air conditioner in the room did not work well. I had the air on 65 the entire night and I woke up in the middle of the night sweating. When I checked into the room, there were fries on the floor, burns, cuts and gum stuck to the desk chair. The room was not clean. I hope in the future this helps you all to do better. The breakfast was filled with low value things and uncooked bacon. If I didn’t have to stay for work I would have checked right back out.

Not sure why in the summer pool was closed. Its always closed for some odd reason

We had planned on spending time in the hot tub. It was broken. After thinking about it, when we stayed here in October we heard the same thing, "they were ordering the part". Hot tub and pool the same temp. Two chances are all you get. We won't be back.

It was good enough for the one-night stay and inexpensive. Breakfast was served around 7:00 a.m., and it was mostly cold items. Rooms were clean but had old house smell. also we had a visit of a Huge Red cockroach in the bathroom

Everything was great except for the breakfast. Cereal with no milk amd waffle maker with no waffles.

The property was fine. However, I was offered early check-out in the app as I completed the pre-check-in process. I declined it, but then changed my mind. When I arrived at the desk, the desk clerk was on the phone correcting a billing issue. Instead of politely greeting me, she pointed to a chair and told me to take a seat and wait. When she completed the call, she did say hello, and when asked if I could have early check-out she said it was not allowed. I did not dispute her statement. The next day at check-out, I had a similar experience with the same young lady. As I approached the desk to check out, I was greeted by a maintenance lady who was sweeping the floor. The young lady was on the phone again addressing another billing issue. I stood there for a minute as she continued talking, but not acknowledging me. The woman who greeted me prompted her to assist me by stating to her that she had a customer to assist. The young woman hung up the phone, and I gave her the key card. I was attempting to share with her that early check-out was offered in the app, and they may want to change that, but she kept speaking over me. I paused to let her make her statement, and then shared the information with her. While the facilities were fine, the young desk clerk's demeanor was off-putting. I hope she just had two difficult days, and this is not her normal demeanor. However, I visit the area quarterly and generally stay overnight 1-3 nights; I would not stay here again.

Was good the night staff could have a better attitude towards customer

My stay was a bit stressful. I could not get local channels on the TV. The manager couldnt either. The maintenance man came, however I was getting ready to leave.

Our stay started off ok. We had 2 rooms. One room had 4 people and the other room had 2 people. I had made a request for extra towels at the time of reservation. When we arrive each room on had a set of 3 towels. I was staying in the room of 4 so I asked the room of 2 if I could use one of their towels. When came time to check out the desk clerk wanted to charge me for a missing towel from the room of 2. I repetitively explained to the desk clerk that the room of 4 was short a set of towels and that we got the extra towel from the room of 2. I was given the run around about how the matter would be taken care of. I offered to unpack my belongings and show that I had not taken the towel. I was finally given my full deposit back in the hopes that the clerk honors his word by not charging my credit card after I leave for a missing towel. Honestly I believe the cleaning staff picked up all of the towels and didn’t count the towels the first time they cleaned the room. They would have noticed then that we had extra towels in the room of 4. Furthermore, the occupants of the room of 2 were constantly locked out of their room which resulted in them having to repetitively going to the front desk to have the key reprogrammed. All in all the staff was very courteous and aside of the towel-gate and rekeying issues the stay was ok.

There was a roach in our room and there was a sign on the mirror stating that they only wash the sheets and towels every three days.

It’s seems they are remodeling because there was painters tape on walls and half painted hallways. The room was too large for the AC to completely cool down. Quiet and clean room. 3 star hotel

Front desk took too long when there was only two people, and it was already in the evening, room had a weird smell and had a humidifier in it, which I’ve never seen in a room, the swimming pool looked like it needed to be scrubbed

I decided to book a room at the Super 8 / Port Arthur after losing power in Houston. Check in wasn't an issue and I was in my room in no time. Plenty of restaurants within driving/walking distance. The only complaint with the property was that the walls were thin and other guest got a little loud after sundown.
