Webb's Year Round Resort

The bed rolled if across floor. No wheel stopper. The tv did not work. When guest service came they reached around the back to turn it on. We had to unplug it to turn it off. Could not find how they had turned it on. All in all not a good experience at all and not exactly inexpensive either.

It was a nice experience, friendly staff.

The staff and this property are so unusually friendly and nice if they could get something or help us they would. Just cool people. Keep hoping some of the mess could be cleaned and rooms had properly working, handles, and locks. Coffee service was great! Usually with snacks ! AC bed and water were great! Every room had balcony! With a lake veiw!

It is a somewhat reconditioned old motel. Rooms have a new coat of paint and new flooring. But the furniture is ancient. The bathroom was atrocious including: rusty fixtures, a square shower/bathtub with non-functioning water jets, and bad caulking throughout. It also has a a large cutout between the bathroom and bedroom with no glass. (See picture) Sounds and odors pass freely into the bedroom. Very unappealing! The free breakfast was abysmal. The check-in staff were courteous and the place appeared to be clean. Given the price ($200/night) it was way overpriced.

We were beyond happy. Our room had a lg private balcony, a gas fireplace, a sm kitchen, a lg jacuzzi tub. The manager was so kind, the room was super clean. We enjoyed our stay there, and highly recommend Webbs Hotel!

Convenient

We love to play cards and there were plenty of places where we could do so.

Staff was great

We enjoyed our weekend there. It's a little out dated, but the friendliness of the staff made the visit absolutely amazing.

They are in the middle of making changes but the bathroom, in particular, was not clean. There was hair in the shower drain, and thick soap scum in the shower and sink area soap holders. Washcloths were either stained or so thin that you could see through. The pool area was not real clean either. There was no breakfast at 730 am an: they offer breakfast. There was no staff around to voice concerns about the lack of cleanliness in the room either. For the price it was very disappointing.

Clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing and went above and beyond. Kelly was wonderful and so helpful ! Would definitely stay here again !

It's being renovated. The people there are very friendly and helpful. It's very clean for being renovated. Nice room, comfortable bed, and nice view of lake. I would stay there again, no problems.

Hot tub and pool

This resort could absolutely be described as authentically rustic. It is located right across the street from Chautauqua Lake. The rooms are dated but clean. The pool is very well maintained. But most importantly, the staff is fantastic. It is reminiscent of old New York. Lovly location and friendly people.

The motel was clearly under renovations. We were given keys to the wrong room which was occupied. Front desk person pleasant.

The front desk staff lives in the back office and greeted us in sleepware. The facility is very dated and hasn't been kept up in quite a while. The rooms were dirty with broken faucets and one half dollar bar of soap. The patio had pieces of wood covering roof water damage which had wasps nest in it. The breakfast included cereal, muffins and pop tarts and Keurig coffee. At night the hallways wreaked of weed and we felt unsafe in this place. It appears at one time in its hayday, Webbs was a premier hotel for dozens of stars and celebrities. Today it's a run down motel with a candy shop and everything else was shutdown. Maybe somebody will buy this place and restore it back to its glory.

Our stay was good, on par with other places we've stayed. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and well maintained. The bed was very large and comfortable. We used the pool and hot tub and they were clean and nice as well. It was a nice stay.

I was hoping for a moderately priced hotel stay as I was only staying two nights to visit a friend. The place was old, rundown, and unfortunately didn’t have an elevator or a vending machine. I would overlook such things but the woman running the place basically lied to me and kicked me out after one night. I called the hotel directly to explain that I was having an issue adding on another night stay and ask if my room would be available for an additional night and hot to book it. I was told that it was available and she would change the dates but I would have to change the payment once I arrived. When I arrived she was very nice, took the information I had and said she’d change the Expedia booking. I thought everything was fine. Next afternoon I have staff come to my door to say we only had one day booked and a wedding party needed the room. I explained the situation and asked if we really needed to leave. She went to check, came back and said it’s all fixed and the wedding party was in the room next door. I thanked her went to lunch. I THEN get a call from the manager who was the woman who I talked to on the phone before and checked me in. She said I was only booked one night and I needed to leave for the wedding party. I said I was confused and explained what the other staff had said. She told me that the staff thought I was in the wedding party, which was not what the staff member said, she said she and Expedia called me that night to tell me no. I never got a call!

The staff went above and beyond to help us. Really enjoyed the stay.
