Staff really helpful and friendly. Rooms a bit tired looking and lack ventilation, air conditioning is poor

The property is in a great location, close to the old quarter and right next to St. Paul’s Cathedral. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we had a late night arrival. The was quite large had a nice view overlooking the street. It was somewhat noisy at night with motorbikes and cars passing by and the bathroom could benefit from a deep clean. The price was fair for what you get.

Helpful staff. Close location to many places in the historical district. However, the room is not nearly as nice as the pictures lead you to believe. It’s kind of run down. The AC worked, it was clean enough and it was safe. That’s all that mattered to us. The old saying ‘You Get What You Pay For.’ is still true!

This is my second stay at this hotel. Even though the room had a nice big window this time, the condition was quite run down with cracks on the floor and dusts on the chaise. I was told they were thinking about renovation for this room. The reception staff were lovely, the young lady changed the fridge for me as the one in my room was not working. The size of the room is comfortable as I booked for a bigger size room. The location was great as it was 5mins walk to Hoan Kiem lake and had lots of eateries nearby.

Nice mini hotel in an excellent location, 3 mins walk to the church and 5mins to Hoan Kiem lake. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. I booked a big room so the size is spacious, good WiFi and lovely staff. I would stay here again.

The room was poorly maintained with broken flooring. The shower smelt bad and there were bugs. We complained and the receptionist offered a slightly better room but there were still bugs and so we immediately left and went to a different hotel. I am surprised this is rated above 9.0 on Hotels.com

The hotel was not bad, but there’s one of the girls that works in the reception that does not know English, and there was a miscommunication

The best part about this hotel was Lucy, her excellent service and genuine interactions to help ensure our stay was great made our stay at this hotel worth it. The AC was super helpful and worked well too! Breakfast was not included however many places were near to eat. The hotel was located at a good spot.

It was nice to have everything so close and able to be accessed by foot. Staff were super nice, helpful and welcoming.

Property is very out dated and dirty. The wallpaper of the room is ripped, and the floor are very dusty and dirty. I don’t think the rooms have been thoroughly cleaned. Very disappointed with my visit as I expected it to be a lot better condition. The photos of the hotel did not capture this at all.

I initially booked this room due to the good reviews on this website, and the pictures looked promising. However on arrival, there was quite a lot of issues that we encountered. We booked two rooms but initially only got one room and had to make the staff aware of this. The first room's door had a large gap in it and was difficult to lock. The bathroom had soap scum on the floors and in the shower, the toilet and surrounding floor was visibly dirty. The sheets on the bed had rips in them. The second room's bathroom was also quite dirty. There was hair on the bedroom and bathroom floors. There was also drops of blood on the floor next to the bed and bedside table. I am unsure if the rooms had been cleaned properly prior to our arrival. We were supposed to stay here for 6 nights but did not even stay for 3 hours due to feeling very uncomfortable with the living situation. We booked elsewhere and instantly felt more secure and comfortable. The benefit of this hotel is the location, as it is quite close to everything in the Old Quarter. The bedrooms are larger compared to other hotels also. If you are looking for convenience and a fairly priced hotel, and are not too concerned about the standard of cleanliness then I would recommend this for you. I however would not recommend staying here to my friends and family.

Nice tiny hotel, close to everything. Big rooms. Located close to cathedral in a low traffic street. Restaurants, circle K and services in same.street.

I do not recommend this hotel. Two towels for two people, no other towels or hand cloths. Shower lacked shelves so soap etc had to be outside on sink. No water kettle. Coffee cups but no coffee. Safe inoperative. TV inoperative. Cobwebs in corners. Room musty with mildew. No comp water. Stay away.

If you are looking for a place where you can save money this is the right place and close to everything this is the right place, but the cleaning is very bad, the bathroom and the floor were dirty, there were even ants in our bed.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is situated in a very quaint alley with the cathedral at the end of the alley. The hotel is ideally located within easy walking distance of the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem lake. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The facilities at the hotel however are a bit tired and worn and could do with some upgrade. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay again.

Pictures looked nothing like the property. Toilet leaked, bathroom faucet ready to fall off. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was fine.

Bed is good and comfortable. No electric kettle provided. Staff are helpful.
