Tokyo Skytree offers an amazing experience with stunning panoramic city views. The observation deck at the top (Tembo Galleria) is definitely the highlight — the 360° skyline view is beautiful, especially if you come during sunset or at night when the city lights up. It really gives you a sense of how vast Tokyo is.
However, one thing to be aware of is the queue when going back down. After visiting the Tembo Galleria, you have to stop again at the 340-meter floor and join another line to take the elevator to the first floor. This waiting time can be quite long, especially during peak hours, so some patience is needed.
Overall, the view is absolutely worth it, but just expect some extra waiting time on the way down. If you plan ahead and go at a less crowded time, the experience becomes much smoother.
