I can't speak on the hotel itself as I did not stay here, but what I can comment on is my experience with the Wyndham Grand. I originally booked a room here for 1 night flying into Toronto. I was really looking forward to staying here for the amenities and proximity to the casino and the falls. A week before my stay, I was contacted saying I was rebooked at the Embassy Suites due to wildfire evacuees. Embassy provided similar amenities and was right next door, so I was OK with the upgrade. I was told there would be no issues at check-in. After traveling all day, I showed up to the Embassy and they didn't have my reservation. After 30 minutes, I was told I was rebooked again at the Doubletree. While a fine hotel, it was a mile away - far enough to not be close to anything. I was told I should have received another call, but I didn't, so it was chaotic and I traveled a very long away to be left without direction. While this hotel looks nice, their communication is horrible and you may show up not being able to stay.

We didn't get to stay at the wyndam. Our hotel was changed twice and we ended up staying a lot further away than planned.

We were bumped by the government emergency declaration to the Embassy Suites and had to argue to get a room of the same description.

Staff is rude and unhelpful

Room was nice. Breakfast was ok. Elevators were very slow. Some waits were 15 + minutes. You had to plan you day around elevators.

Wonderful staff especially with the front desk, elevators and parking staff. Great views and well worth the upgrade. The four bedroom suites would be comfy for a family of 4 or more. Highly recommended. STK restaurant was also excellent Maybe improve the quality of breakfast items

Loved our stay!

unable to accommodate our reservation at the Wyndham Grand Fallsview Hotel as all rooms are now being used to support those affected by the emergency. However, we have arranged to relocate to booking to our sister property, the Embassy Suites Hotel. We are so lucky got Embassy suites with the same price and same amenities.

Can't comment on the hotel. They switched my reservation to another hotel a couple of days before I arrived.

The parking lot is a fiasco, someone in an SUV wearing a white shirt got verbally angry with us for trying to drive forward. The hotel staff stepped in, but what a weird start. Hotel elevators are very slow as it’s busy. Hotel property is very clean.

We were notified 3 days before our trip that our hotel had been changed to the Embassy suites.

It’s pretty good experience

Upon arrival we were told that the hotel had taken in all the ppl from the wildfires and that we had been re-located to the Embassy Suites across the St. When we got to the Embassy Suites they informed me that my balance for the stay was $827 for 2 nights when it was supposed to be $431. I was like, um pardon? The front desk clerk said that their incidentals coverage was $200/per night. WHAT???!!! I told him well in that case we will be relocating to a different hotel. He ended up getting his Supervisor to allow us to pay it on my debit card, which in turn took away an additional $400 away from our trip to Niagara. We were given nothing complementary for the inconvenience and were made to wait to check out so they could do a room check before giving me my $400 back. All ridiculous and unnecessary from start to finish. Very disorganized.

I ended up being transferred to the embassy due to the Wyndham being utilized for the relief efforts of the wildfire, I would have check in on my birthday and no staff noticed that it was my birthday even though my passport was given multiple times at the check-in . It would have been nice if staff would have been more observant

Beautiful view of the falls from my room. The room was very nice. I didn’t appreciate having to park off property and pay huge parking fees daily.

I liked the falls view from my unit, that sits on the 15th floor of that hotel. I also was happy for the train ride that took me to and from the falls all because of my disability. As for my room , myself and family enjoyed the clendiness and comfort. I made my teas 🍵 that i was presented with in my room. We wish we could've stayed longer. Lol ! We also enjoyed the fire works. I miss that! However, thank you for accommodating us. BLESSINGS
