Perfect base for a stay in Jena. Excellent location and facilities. Staff welcoming and ultra efficient.

We stayed here before and really like the place. Great breakfast, super convenient and very nice rooms and staff.

Dorint Esplanade is right downtown Jena, close to everything. The room, and bathroom, was spacious. The staff was friendly. We booked our room with breakfast. The breakfast was great. They had anything you could want for breakfast and if it wasn't on the buffet the staff would get it. We've been going here for years, and the staff is always the same which speaks for the hotel. Will definitely continue coming to Dorint Esplanade.

Hotel is big, room is big, lots of parking space, breakfast is ok

Booked here centre of town great location , great service however someone has decided to put what I can only describe as plastic mattress toppers on , 1 they weren’t comfortable 2 you moved around and the sheet slipped off they were awful ! I usually spend 3 nights a week in hotels this system ranks along side the worst & most uncomfortable I’ve encountered Whicker everything down - service excellent staff great room good , bed awful

Everything was good and the only thing that wad annoyed is that the Air condition didn't work from 22 to 7 It was pretty hot in my room and the staff didn't tell me that this is the routine

The first few days I was there my room was too hot in the night. When I talked to the people on the front desk I was told that the air conditioning was turned off at night! That’s madness. If made the room too hot for me to sleep well at night and ruined stay in Jena. It was not what I thought I was buying. Other than e, pretty nice, good breakfast, staff friendly and nice Or

Room was spacious and nice big windows but hotel told us the air conditioning turns OFF at night. In July, ugh. Please state this in gitel drtails to avoid surprises. I get mosquito bites easily so open windows without screens isnt an option.

Quiet hotel Little inconvenient of elevators..

Genuinely exceeded my expectations. The architecture is open and airy, which gives a sense of being outside, the deco is minimalist and room spacious, clean and with quality toiletries. The food both for breakfast and dinner was excellent and made of wholesome ingredients however the real strength of the hotel in my view is their staff who seemed to understand my needs and nothing was ever too much. Especially the lady in the moonlight bar who is so welcoming and when you are a solo traveller on a business trip that can make the whole difference.! thank you Dorint
