Modern section hotel , was of a very industrial design, not inkeeping with the main building. Room was adequate but window looked out at vent shaft (stone wall) All facilities were satisfactory, staff pleasant, accomodation ,and professional. The parking location was ideal

This property is a beautiful historic building with tons of charm and a great location! Unfortunately, we didn’t understand the room options based on the description and ended up in a more modern “duplex” part of the building with an odd room configuration… The toilet was outside of the main hotel room in an “entryway” of sorts, and our exterior room door opened directly beside the restroom to be used for pool guests.

Try and stay in rooms in old section! Modern section was very industrial some may like but for us lacked old charm!

Prestation correcte mais dans l’ensemble, mobilier vieillissant, piscine peu entretenue et surtout certains receptioniste pas au niveau. J’ai passé commande de deux boissons depuis le QR code depuis la piscine, 30 minutes plus tard, rien. J’appelle la reception, le jeune homme m’a dit “j’arrive” sans s’excuser. Peu professionel, pas au niveau.

Nice hotel within five/ten minutes walk of the train station and centre. Perfect for a short stay in Avignon.

We arrived by train, hotel is 5 minute walk from the station. Beautiful historical building with modern amenities. Staff are welcoming and helpful.

The hotel is average. The shower is not good. My rooms where not reachable with the elevator. Location is super. Breakfast was oké.

Perfect location right outside the Avignon City Central train station. The entry courtyard is stunning with a historic charm. While the room wasn’t ready until check-in time, I was happy to get access to the rooftop pool and wait with my sunglasses and book. My room was in the old section of the hotel - a simple, smaller room on the top floor with a comfortable bed. For those wondering, the air conditioning was more than enough to keep me cool during 90F days! It just takes a little while to cool the whole room - then I even turned it down. When I come back to Avignon, I’ll stay here again!

Air conditioning did not work well in 90 degree heat. Elevator broken again. When asked for a restaurant recommendation, sent to a friend of the front desk person. Not a good restaurant.

An amazing property with clean spacious rooms. The pool on the top deck is warm and has amazing views. The staff are very professional and friendly. Highly recommend staying at Hotel Le Cloître St. Louis.

Really beautiful building, but the air conditioning doesn’t really work and the staff can’t fix it because the whole system is lousy. My bathroom smelled of sewer gas- yuck. Nice breakfast

Good location 5 minutes to nice bars and restaurants. Its a lovely building, bar and restaurant looked nice but we didnt try them. Room in the old part, best avoid if you can up a set of stone stairs not great if you have lots of lugguage. Nice room, but TV didnt work, wifi barely reached the room so was spotty at best, room only had one avaible plug socket, not what you need to keep the various devices topped up overnight. Air conditioning made a lot of noise, but barely did anything, too hot to sleep. Hotel didnt seem concerned to help i eventually got a fan from a member of staff which gave some air movement and made things bareable again, but then had to unplug the one item that had some charge to use it! Overall looks nice but very dissapointing

Un endroit d’exception et unique car un ancien cloître, très bien situé et facile d’accès. Chambre avec balcon et belle piscine pour se rafraîchir car Avignon chaud en été. Excellent service et accueil. Parking sur place aussi. Je le recommande sans hésiter. Merci Nicolas

Beautiful place in a great location

I arrived on bicycle to a very basic reception desk with a long wait. I asked if I could take my bicycle to my room but was shocked to be told under no circumstances would that be allowed. What followed was shocking, one young man got involved and when i questioned why he was getting involved he told me to 'shut up' 'or else!'. I have never ever been spoken to and threatened like this before. Another a English guest I met had a very similar experience when checking in, the same man refused to accept they had 2 rooms booked and tried to charge for an extra room despite having confirmation. Very aggressive unapologetic staff on front desk including the reception manager. If you are English stay away from this hotel!!

Large older monstary but hard to find office, room - Elevator was broken. Placed in a room in older section rather than newer better section.

This is a lovely historic property. We stayed in the older section in a room overlooking the courtyard. Excellent staff, cleanliness and condition. Very convenient to the train station as well as to the old town. Would love to stay here again.
