Although it is a good 30 minute walk from the station, its location next to canals and proximity to the centre was handy. The room was comfortable, the public areas are very dated. Breakfast included in room rate wasn't great - zero acknowledgment from staff, bleak dining room, items had ran out, coffee foul. Given the general prices in Bruges for hotels, it offered fair value given location and bedroom standard.

Good location

Property is situated on the edge of Bruges, just off the ring road but only a short ten-minute walk from the main square and all of Bruges attractions. The hotel room was large with a nice seating area. The buffet breakfast was also very good with plenty of choices. Parking is available, but pricy in the nearby underground car park.

A great hotel frontage, right on the banks of the river and an easy walk to town Once inside the hotel is dated, very early 80s and is in a time warp. Bedroom furniture all very dated, faded and tired too and needs an overhaul. Breakfast was mediocre at best, and for the combined price was not VFM. A great little city, but not the best hotel stay.

It was clean and comfy. They deal with group tour companies so one night was quite noisy and the other not..

We had a great time at the Golden Tulip hotel, quite close to the main square with the Belfort Tower, Bus no.2 from Bruges Station lands right outside the hotel. The room we had looked a bit dated but was really clean, for the money, as we were not in the room that much, was really good value. The Daily breakfast was really lovely and the staff were helpful, it was an 8 out of 10 for us.

Great location, bit more quiet, but still walkable distance from the main sights. The staff was friendly, the rooms are spacious, clean and cozy. Good breakfast. No complaints, would definitely return.

The double bed were in reality two singles put side by side and with wheels! They move around. Breakfast is more than reasonable. Restaurant closed. Bar doesn't even have a sandwich. Depending on price could be a decent option (on the cheap side)

The hotel felt far from the Christmas market and center of town, and train station. But it was in a beautiful location. Also, staff was very helpful And friendly.

Lovely old fashioned hotel a short walk from the main square, nice breakfast, comfortable beds quiet rooms so slept well.

Love this hotel, it was in a very quaint area of town and very quiet and safe. Highly recommend this hotel. We loved our room which was at the top and we had a picture window to the canal and bridge. Overall, staying here really added to our visit to Brugge.
