A nice hotel in the center of Zuidlaren. It has all you need. Good bed, clean room and a nice breakfast. Close to the City of Groningen….

Nice hotel - clean with decent service.

Top lokatie maar een gedateerd hotel. Mijn kamer kwam zo uit de jaren 70. Alleen een moderne TV was wel aanwezig. Badkamer heeft dringend een renovatie nodig. Geen koffie apparaat maar er zijn verschillende heerlijk koffie tentjes op korte loopafstand. Prijs -kwaliteitsverhouding is scheef….

Hotel was very close to family, breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to family and friends.

Staff are friendly make you feel at home.

Rooms were large, clean. Staff went out of their way. We are a rock band traveling and playing in Assen. They were very courteous and the night clerk was waiting for us when we got in at 3am to let us in as the main entrance closed a midnight. Breakfast was wonderful. We will stay there the next time we are in town.

The hotel is well located (15 minutes from Groningen) with plenty of parking space and gorgeous rooms. The staff is very reactive, friendly and ready to help. I’ll certainly stay there again next time I am in Groningen.

Great place to stay. Breakfast had hot and cold food, very good for the price. Parking was ok as they were out of hotel parking but we could park in the lot just across the street for free. Only thing would have been if it was a certain day we would have had to move it by 7am. Just a block away was a great street for shopping about 9 blocks long both sides. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful for our minimal questions. The room for four adults was nice, but the only bathroom for ours was up the spiral staircase which was a little challenging for my mom because of a knee that she needs replaced when we get home-just FYI. No problems for us and we would stay again.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and you must try the restaurant

Stayed here whilst visiting daughter at Groningen Uni. Central location in up market small town set in woodland .Hotel central village location with a variety of restaurants shops and excellent bus connections just outside hotel. Came by car large car park free at rear of hotel bused into Groningen Assen Not far from airport although taxi needed. Great value arrived 8-40pm told kitchen closed 9pm . Had nice evening meal supplied on room service by 9,10pm impressive start. Excellent choice if you wish to avoid the larger nearby towns and go local in value and atmosphere.

Had a fabulous stay at the tulip hotel very friendly staff great breakfast and comfy beds stayed here a few times and we will be returning

The staff is very nice and helpful. I wish, however, that the water was more hot in the shower.

The room was too cold and there was insufficient hot water for the shower.

Not worth the rating. Outdated, bad beds and staff seemed disinterested. 3 stars, maybe.

Nothing spetial, good for the one night stay

good hotel female staf nice and helpfull .male turn sour in the breakfastroom. wifi in the room i had did not wordk well. breakfast good but expencive.

Nice friendly hotel in a nice part of the Netherlands. Can't fault it.

Room was very clean, but small. Beds were clean and comfortable. Food was good in restaurant, but they could have used more help. Only had one waitress. I would stay here again.
