Clean room, exceptional concierge and reception staff

Room was great, so was breakfast. The spa was very nice too

We had 2 rooms. First part of our stay was in the old section. The second part was in the renovated area. Ask for a renovated room. Spacious and beautiful!!!

Room was cold and reception solution was to offer more duvets rather than fix heating. Property is being renovated and only one lift for entire hotel so often long queues.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and reserved a premium king room, expecting a comfortable and relaxing stay. Unfortunately, my room was located right next to the fire exit and the housekeeping room. Every morning from around 7am, it became extremely noisy as the staff started cleaning and moving equipment, making it impossible to rest properly. I reached out to reception and explained that the noise was very disturbing, requesting a room change. The lady at reception, whose name I believe was Rianne, told me the hotel was full and that she couldn’t change the room at the time. I kindly asked if they could move us on another day instead, and she said she would make a note about it. When I checked out, I found out that no note had been made and nothing was done to resolve the issue. No apology or compensation was offered, and we left the hotel quite disappointed. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel. Rooms should never be placed directly next to housekeeping areas, or at the very least, they should be offered at a lower rate. I expected much more from this hotel, especially after booking a premium room, and unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations.

It needs updating, staff are lovely and try their best. Only 1 working elevator the whole 3days. Frosted bedroom window, no view whatsoever. Breakfast not included, enjoyed it but pricey as quite average.

I don’t give five stars lightly but this place deserves it! Service, atmosphere and food were amazing. The only challenge was no parking. They do offer a reduced rate for parking a block away at the TCP lot. We parked for the better of two days straight and, after the discount, paid £18.

We booked a quiet room through Expedia. I also messaged the hotel through Hilton for a quiet room. Upon check in, got a very loud room on the first floor with nats as a problem. Did not sleep well due to traffic noise and nats swimming around our wine and bathroom.Complained the next day and the hotel did a solid by changing our room to an inner courtyard with no traffic noise and less nays. Terrific customer service!

Laura, the PM manager, was accommodating and flexible about changing us to a different, more convenient room. Overall the hotel staff were warm, helpful and highly professional. The hotel location is excellent near the castle and royal mile.

The property is in a great central location, making it convenient for exploring the city. The room was small but clean and comfortable. However, there were a few downsides. Parking was located quite far from the property, which was inconvenient. The rooms also did not have air conditioning. Service was just okay—I had to call a couple of times before getting a response.Breakfast was excellent Overall, it’s a decent place to stay if location is your top priority

Loved this property! The hotel restaurant was amazing and the room was lovely. It was quiet even with in a very busy area.

Good location, walking distance to the castle and bus stops. Restaurant food was good but overpriced, it was nice touch when we arrived they offered us some complimentary bubbles. Concierge was very helpful and had great recommendations for us.
