Nice big clean room

The stay started off fine but we noticed our upstairs neighbours were stomping and pounding a lot, come to find out they had booked overnight construction right above our room and never disclosed it. Come 4:30 am we finally gave up because we couldn’t sleep and left

It was not totally the Hotel fault, but, there was some little important things that should have been done. It is about my 6th or 7th stay at this hotel, and it is the first time I have a bad review. Big thing, there was a group of many young kids close to our room who made a lot of noise each 2 morning we were there, and i am talking shouting, loud voice even howling and it woke us up both time, very soon. The room did not have a telephone (??? first time in my life with a room without a phone), so I needed to use my cell, find the number on internet and call to tell the hotel to do something about it. Another missing thing was an half curtain, with no light blocker, and missing towels. Again, it is the first time I saw this at this hotel, and to end the case. It was about DOUBLE price as usual. So, sorry but i cannot give anything really nice this time.

I had booked this place several months ago for my stay during a convention. When I arrived, they informed me that the suite I had booked was not available because of renovations. There was no mention of this when I booked or at any point leading up to my stay. I was given a standard room at a standard rate, no discount offered. The room was significantly smaller than what I booked. They also failed to mention that the pool was closed for an entire week. Regarding the construction, intense banging every morning and even one evening at around midnight. Very disappointing stay. Had I know about all these things I would have booked elsewhere as I needed to be well rested for the convention I was attending.

Terrible experience. Kids were running and playing hockey in the hallway until 4:30 in the morning — impossible to sleep with all the noise. I went to the front desk and was told that the manager, Johnathan, could help me get some money back for the awful night. That turned out to be a lie. Never got a follow-up or any compensation. Completely unprofessional and not worth the stay.

When we tried putting something into the safe in our room, an alarm started going off. Then after a minute of that, someone that worked there just came in to the room without knocking. My sister and I were disappointed that they did not knock first and ask if we needed help, before just coming in. When we arrived there were only 2 towels in the room even though we booked in advance with 3 people on the booking. It took a long while to get the 3rd towel. I had to go to the front desk. The restaurant breakfast was great. Very happy with the morning service at the restaurant. The menu in the evening should have more options for kids and canadian food items. I had a picky eater with me and since he did not eat italian or indian, we had to do uber delivery. A picture of the chicken burger or salad would be helpful. The pool was out of service and I was looking forward to swimming. I have a sprained ankle so I specifically looked for a hotel with a pool. I would stay again, but feel like I would need to call in advance to see if the pool and restaurant lunch/dinners are functioning better. Lots of unfinished work in the hallways of the hotel. Not a big deal though. The price was reasonable so I trust that it took this into consideration. Consider hosting Trivia Nights in the Restaurant, as the floor plan is perfect for it in the bar area. Lots of potential to shine.

Overpriced and outdated. I paid the price of a 4-star hotel and ended up in what’s basically a dressed-up 2-star motel. Yes, the lobby looks nice — but it’s all smoke and mirrors. The building is clearly from the 1980s, and the so-called “renovations” seem to consist of new shower tiles and a cheap flat-screen TV. It’s sandwiched between two supermarkets, and the walls are so thin you’ll hear everything — footsteps, conversations, even someone sneezing two rooms over. Definitely not worth the price. Feels more like a low-budget stopover than a comfortable hotel stay.

l liked a few things about the place, breakfast was good, but the Saturday waitress was not as polite as the other ones, the room was okay but the bed was sinking in the middle and we had to place the ironing board under the mattress to make it level and it was close to the casino.
