What a beautiful and friendly hotel tucked away in the corner of Farringdon. Quirky and beautiful in equal measure. It felt like an oasis of calm.

This joint needs maintenance. Plumbing is from Victorian era. Pipes gurgling all night. WC water flush is so extreme it comes out the bowl & onto the seat and floor. Gross. Dirty carpet. We were expecting old fashioned not defunct.

Loved the Rookery. Very homely, comfortable, and enjoyed the fact you got Breakfast in bed! Bagheera, the cat, hosted well (although a bit aloof).

The Rookery is a real home away from home. Staff are always lovely and very kind. Rooms are all beautiful and filled with character. Completely unique.

This property isn't for everyone; there's no elevator and there was only a shower tub. It's an old building so the floor above squeaked. That being said, the staff is amazingly friendly; very clean; very convenient to the tube; honor drink bar in library; and nice cat Bagheera.
