Everything from the reception to the waiting staff also the food was very good

Great location to where the wedding we attended was . Pleasant arrival with a easy check in . Room were spacious but did have a smell when first opening door but soon went with windows open . Bonus on hot spell we had A/c . Breakfast was a very good selection of Continental/ fry up . Fresh jucies on offer plus toast and ceral . Would recommend a stay if your around the area

The staff at this property where really really lovely so genuine and welcoming it really made the overnight stay. Plus the cleanliness of the rooms was too notch and the breakfast was great. Date I say much better than other companies hotels. Service and all the above mentioned where 5 star in our opinion. We are out and taxi service used by the hotel was also brilliant efficient and quick.

All special needs willingly attended to, very friendly and helpful staff (one could have been a bit more cheerful!), cosy and comfortable. Exterior was a bit dismal-looking and did not represent the welcoming interior.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. Positives first – the bed was very comfortable, and the free parking was a definite bonus. However, I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom. On arrival, I found faeces marks in the toilet pan, which I can only assume were left by a previous guest. This was not only unpleasant but also completely unacceptable, especially from a hotel that promotes its “Clean Promise” and claims to uphold high standards of hygiene. I reported the issue to a member of staff, and a young male employee came to my room with a toilet brush to clean it. He was incredibly polite, understanding, and apologetic. I genuinely felt sorry for him having to deal with such a task, but he handled it with professionalism and kindness. He was the only member of staff who really stood out in terms of customer care. I also informed Beth at reception. She apologised and offered me a complimentary soft drink at the bar. While I appreciated the gesture, it felt like a minimal response to a situation that clearly breached the hotel’s own cleanliness standards. There were no further efforts to make amends or follow up. The hotel’s “Clean Promise” was clearly not upheld in this instance, and that’s disappointing. Cleanliness should be a basic standard, not a bonus, and unfortunately, this experience left me questioning the reliability of that promise. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve room checks and overall

I have stayed here before and had a better experience last time. On arrival the lady on reception was unfriendly, she didn't even tell me.to register my car on the system. I found out that i needed to do it the following morning. When leaving she was just as unfriendly. The room was not clean. There wer stains on the radiators and a random sweet on the floor. All in all very disappointing!

Property was convenient to get on and off motorway which is what we needes. Clean rooms. Slightly smaller than I expected when booking a fanily room, and we had to carry a pushchair up and down a couple small flights of stairs, they did offer to help with that though. Overall good stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff

We ended up in an “accessible” room. It had a large room and bathroom. It looked like a hospital room complete with emergency pull chains. I don’t know if this is normal for an accessible room in Europe but it was different. They claimed to have air conditioning but it didn’t seem to do much good. The car park was made more out of pot holes than asphalt. The mattresses were worn and uncomfortable. The staff was friendly. The breakfast the next morning was good but more expensive than it should have been.
