When you walk into the Davenport, you think you are going to have a luxurious experience. The bar, the lobby, the price, they all tell you this is a luxury hotel where you will be treated kindly as a guest and get to enjoy the perks of a nice hotel.
That is where the illusion ends. This hotel is run to nickel and dime you from the second you enter to the moment you leave.
The two biggest ways you will see this is upon arrival, a 28$ parking fee per day and a $20 daily amenity fee that gets you....nothing (unless you want to dine in their restaurant, in which they give you 10 back.)
Nothing says welcome guest like a bunch of hidden fees.
Add onto this the fact that your 350 dollar hotel room has no fridge, not enough towels or robes, and trash left from the previous guests.....
It's a beautiful hotel, but the luxury ends at the decor.
