☆CONS Hygiene:● Fruit not properly washed (dirt visible on rinds) ●Waiters wipe off tables with dry handkerchiefs left behind by previous table occupants●Each tray of food doesn’t have its own tongs, they either share with 3 or 4 other displayed food or nothing at all●Saw a woman grab a hard-boiled egg with her bare hands, crack it on side of the metal trays, & then put it back in with the rest.●Saw a little girl scoop out soup with the ladle for it, & then put her nose to it.●Saw a little boy look around for tongs to grab tortilla chips from the snack bar & after seeing none, grab a handful for his plate.●Saw multiple staff members pick their nose or wipe their sweat near food areas.●Flies are a norm in the dining area.●Birds eat directly from the beach buffet trays.●Spotted a Cockroach (flying waterbug) sitting in dining room chair, in the buffet dining room. ●No sanitizer stations in any dining areas.●Room not fully cleaned (paper towel & hair left on floor). Food was sub-par (under seasoned & all meat fried dry & hard, even fish) Comfort: Room AC inconsistent, lights flickering & main buffet dining room is hot & muggy. Customer Service: Staff begrudgingly helps you unless you show them you're about to tip them. ●Housekeepers resistant to providing extra towels, until they clean your room or finish all rooms.●They don’t provide wash cloths. ●Hallways are a loud hang out spot for maintenance men & housekeepers ☆Pros: The bed was soo comfortable! Their beach is clean!

For the money, we paid, the place was very decent. The food was not bad. And the staff was pretty nice. The bathroom sink had little water to wash your face or brush your teeth. The safe did not work would not lock. But what bothers me the most are the people outside your room, waiting for you to come down to sell you something. This was an every day thing. They were nasty and inappropriate, and they wouldn’t leave us alone. They stopped us every day when we came out of the room. They were stalkers. If it wasn’t for these people, the place was not bad at all for the money. The people from animation, were great and entertaining. But don’t go on weekends, because everybody from the Hood decides to go also, and it gets packed. Good thing. I left on that Saturday because that’s when the town decided to go. They were lines to go in the dining room. Just don’t go on Weekends..

En geneneral la experiencia fue buena,la comida esta muy rica, el area de pizza riquisimo, pero pueden mejorar el servicio del bar principal los bartenders no son nada amables y se enfocan en un grupo (total enfoque x los tips) y se olvidan del resto de gente y toca esperar mucho tiempo como si fuera un favor que te hacen y el restaurante Alcazar las hoster de la puerta 0 servicio al cliente. Los meseros Abel y Sandra muy buen servicio. El servicio de Spa super Marta y Esther. La habitacion siempre limpia, toallas limpias todos los dias. Me gusto el servicio de las excursiones en la recepcion no es necesario ir lejos. Y super recomendada la tienda de souvenirs atiende el señor "Sammy" super amable, te hace el dia :) y buenos precios.

Lo unico que tengo para criticar es respecto al aire de la habitacion, la primera noche apenas enfrio,lo reporte,fueron y lo arreglaron y el ultimo dia fue un tecnico a colocar una pieza al equipo y desde ese momento dejo de enfriar,lo reporte nuevamente,supuestamente me dijeron que lo habian arreglado pero esa noche nunca funciono,y al dia siguiente a la hora de dejar la habitacion se mantenia sin funcionar,por lo demas todo bien.

It will be nice if the resort offers transportation from and to the airport. Room was nice and clean but need to check some outlets and TV's. Nice resort overall; I will recommend it to friends and family. Entertainment and animation team was Great.

The staff has very limited English’s giving the impression of rudeness and creating misunderstanding. At the check in counter, I was rudely told to go over another check in desk without explanation. The person at that desk didn’t speak any English. Another person came to help him with my check in, but in the middle of this another guest, who spoke Spanish came, and I was ignored for a long period of time while they were chatting and laughing. Finally, after so called private check in, I was escorted to my room by a person who said he will be my “butler”. The room was not the one I reserved. The “butler” left for a long period of time and came back with a different room key. The second room also didn’t correspond to my reservation. I was exhausted and had tears in my eyes but no one noticed. Went back to the lobby. A manager came out and escorted us to the 3rd room. This was also not the room I reserved but he said it’s in the same category, he can’t give me anything else and doesn’t understand why am I crying. The “butler “ didn’t leave his contact information for the future services. My check in took about 2hours. The room was shabby but fairly clean. The safe and the balcony door were broken and I had to wait for the 2 different repair men to come and fix them. The balcony door was not fixed at the end After nearly 3 hours in this resort I just wanted to be left alone. The room had multiple broken tiles, peeling paint, broken iron, leaking shower, non-flushing toilet.

Spent 7 days/6 nights as family of 4 (teen, 50s, 60s, and 80s). Enjoyed but had issues. Property: The resort property is well kept and there are staff constantly cleaning. Not much shade and people save areas very early. People DO move/take towels. Staff: The staff were all generally nice; however, most don't speak English. Our group spoke Spanish, but I did notice that staff did not speak or interact much with non-Spanish speakers. I don't believe that it was done with mal-intent - more just inability to communicate. Non-Spanish speakers likely won't have much staff interaction. Room: We had two rooms that were not adjoining. Both rooms were spacious. The safe in one of the rooms initially did not work. We told the front desk but not repaired. After 2 days, we met the person seated at the entrance to our building and told him that the safe did not work. He had someone in the room within 15 minutes to repair the safe. The first day, after quickly unpacking, my husband placed his bag with a towel, suntan lotion, and a small book on the desk (nothing big or heavy). We're not sure if the glass was already cracked (we didn't notice); however, when he picked up the bag he noticed a large crack. He told the front desk and when we checked out, we were charged for the glass ($55) so be careful. Food: We tried all of the restaurants. Some are definitely better than others but we found something to eat all week. Unfortunately, we all ended up with stomach issues. Pack medication.

We just spent 7 nights here and it was so relaxing. Short walk from our room to the beach and all the food. We would definitely recommend this place to people. Not to crowed. The air conditioner did not keep the room as cool as we are used to but was still doable. Apparently they do not use wash clothes in Punta Cana so you might want to consider bringing them.

The room wasn't completely clean. The facilities need remodeling. One night the water went out, and two cockroaches appeared. The staff was attentive. Our coordinator, Lydia, was very helpful.

Todo estuvo bien menos el aire acondicionado de mi habitación tumbaba en la madrugada más de tres horas y luego volvía media hora y se iba nuevamente y que querían cobrarle un dinero a mi esposo por un incidente en el gym q ha pasado otras veces con diferente personas y aún no lo arreglan ni advierten del mismo en el lugar pero le cobran a los huéspedes!!!
