Even with the construction the hotel was clean and quiet

The only reason not 5 across the board is the construction. We couldn’t use the pool and the plastic tarps in the lobby.

Every employee at the hotel was sincerely friendly…will definitely stay here the next time we’re here at State College. I really can’t say enough about the hospitality of your employees…thank you!!

Great people

The check in was great. There a few chain restaurants within walking distance. The pool stays open a bit later than most. Decent breakfast options. I believe they are working on the rooms. The one I had was very clean.

For both days of our stay, from about 8:30 AM til 6:00 PM there was drilling, electric sanding and crew noise from directly over our heads, outside the window and across the hall, even on Easter Sunday! When we checked in, we were advised of this. It was too late to cancel, of course. The person at check-in told us that the information was available "on their website" and expressed no regret, giving us the company line that its purpose was to make the hotel "even more beautiful" for us - as if somehow that made the ripoff right. We spent two unpleasant, nerve-racking days in a place we would NEVER had chosen had we known previously. Shameful - never would we return, construction or not.

Staff was great from checkin to check out. Room was clean. Nice indoor pool and workout area.

Very Nice

The walls of this hotel are very thin. The beds of each room are backed by a wall that separates one room's sleeping area from the next room's bathroom. With the extremely thin walls, I could hear the guests in the next room talking, then *peeing*, then *vomiting* while I was trying to get to sleep.

Great experience overall! The staff were friendly and helpful, specifically Jax. Rooms were clean. Beds were very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

My family enjoyed staying the night and will be looking out for other Springhill Suites by Marriott on future family adventures. We booked two rooms which turned out to be on separate floors, but the customer service representative switched us onto the same floor next to each other which was great. Great breakfast too.
