Perfectly fine stay, great location. Room was fine, bathroom was fine. Everything was clean except for the glasses at the Bar. Breakfast was good, but the dining area is too small for number of rooms.

The location of the hotel is excellent for shopping. However, the hotel itself is disappointing. One room had 5p on floor showing the lack of cleaning and toilet bowl was unclean. The view from the window was of bins and the AC wasn’t working so we were given a filthy fan as a substitute measure. The breakfast time was so busy we couldn’t find a seat for all 4 of us, we’d purchased two rooms for two couples. The breakfast was okay but cheap ingredients and seemed staff could not keep up with service. The worst part was the bed was so small, soft and lumpy. None of us slept well. We frequently stay in hotels and they are often at the higher end, yet the cost of this we would have expected at the very least comfort and cleanliness.

A bit disappointing this time. Air conditioning not working - they had put fans in rooms and had water to help yourself to. Not the greatest experience with staff who seemed overworked. Breakfast both days was poor. Cooked food was overcooked and dry. Bread and pastries were dry. Slow to replace items as guests used them. Coffee machine was terrible. The room was fine. No sockets by the bed - there was a usb charging point but this didn’t work. At over £200 per night this seemed very expensive for what we got. The location is great and car parking works well - just remember to get your ticket validated.

HVAC was out, and the halls a little narrow, but the staff was excellent, the location perfect, and the morning breakfast extensive and tasty.

Friendly & helpful staff. We were able to check in 2 hours early as well. Very decent & plentiful breakfast. Free coffee & tea and cans of water at all times in reception was a welcome touch. Such a convenient location for Isle of Wight, Dockyard & shopping. Great to have discount in some shops & restaurants. Rooms are a little dated but more than adequate. Actually nice to have an openable window in a hotel. Shower curtain was a bit annoying but there was a clever door separating toilet which would be great if sharing a room. I found it pretty quiet even though train line outside. Obviously the usual disrespectful guests banging their doors and cases in early hours but bed super comfy & slept great. As a light sleeper this is rare! Would definitely recommend & stay again.

Booked because it had AC. When we checked in AC was OOS. And Expedia knew it. We immediately checked out and got another hotel. Expedia had better refund every penny

Fine for a £50-£80 hotel. A bit over priced for what it is.

Subject: Disappointing Stay - Convenient Location, But Major Flaws My recent overnight stay at this hotel was, unfortunately, a letdown despite its convenient location for the cruise port. While the proximity is a major plus, the significant comfort issues made for a very poor experience. The room was hot and humid, a major problem exacerbated by the fact that the air conditioning was non-functional. To make matters worse, the windows did not open, leaving no way to ventilate the room. The only relief was a small, dirty fan, which did little to circulate the stifling air. For a hotel stay, particularly one paid at full price, a comfortable room temperature is a basic expectation. It was frustrating that no discount was offered for this major inconvenience, with the only compensation being a couple of cans of water. The included breakfast was equally disappointing. At 8:30 AM, the food was already of poor quality. The sausages were overcooked and seemed to have been sitting on a warmer for a long time, while the scrambled eggs were watery and unappetizing. The coffee had a burnt taste, making it difficult to enjoy. It's clear that this hotel's primary business comes from its location near the cruise port. However, it's a shame that it seems to be resting on that one advantage without investing in guest comfort. IHG should consider investing in this property to bring it up to the standard expected of the brand. I would not recommend this hotel for anyt

Apart from the car parking being underground, distant, and safe access to it meant carrying luggage through a busy shopping mall, the hotel itself was very pleasant. Clean and comfortable, with an excellent buffet-style breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had chosen to stay there as it was dog friendly.
