We were there for one night. It was a very nice stay. Everything was clean, and the staff was very friendly.

Off-season one night stay, no 15€ breakfast; the room is ground floor facing the parking lot. It was quiet and the surrounding is very nice woods.

Very nice hotel. Large rooms with all the things you want including tea/coffee. Nice terrace with small playground for kids. Very friendly staff. Great location for forest and about 1.5km to the lake.

We expected this place to have air conditioning. Room was hot and uncomfortable.

Three day stay, everything was perfect. Would certainly stay again. Orbitz insisting on a certain word count for reviews however, is silly as it means that loads of people skip leaving any feedback.

The hotel has a great location. The linens, towels, and bathroom were clean. However, there were quite some ants crawling around even though we didn’t have any food in the room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and noisy. We could feel the lumps in them and it was impossible to turn without waking the other person up.

Quiet hotel. Free parking. Friendly staff. Room was large-ish and clean. Comfy bed. The room (green) decor does need updating but that's a minor point. Free bottle of water and tea/coffee facilities. No English speaking channels on the TV. Suitable for a few nights stay. There's a Lidl supermarket about 1km from the hotel if you turn right and walk down the road, with further shops and restaurants further into town.

I stayed here for 5 nights with a friend, while I was getting tattooed by the local legend markus lenhard. Everything was great, the only things that could have been better would be faster internet, and a fridge/mini-bar in the room. We bought some cold snacks for the room but always had to buy more each day because of this. Staff were very helpful particularly the barman from Latvia! Very friendly guy. But everyone was great too. Thanks

We were passing through after been in Berlin so nice and relaxing . An excellent place to stay for walkers ,cyclists or like us travelling on to Poland

Worth staying. This hotel deserves more star!

Was happy with the facilities and staff and would recommend it for anyone who wanted to visit Berlin but preferred to stay out of the city serviced by a good rail system.

The hotel in in a good location with the opportunity to explore a very lovely region, yet offering a good train service into Berlin. The hotels facilities are quite basic and certainly not 4 star. No a/c or even a fan in the rooms or public areas and restaurant. No minibar and the bathrooms only have a shower, (but are good). Only local tv and the internet is very poor. Only 4 coat-hangers, no toweling robes and extra pillows had to be requested at reception. The restaurant serves the same choices on the menu every night but the breakfasts are excellent. The hotel is tired and could do with some modernization but the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Lovely room, stayed only for one night but would have been good to stay more. Comfortable bed, friendly staff and good facilities. Good price especially for Germany, appreciated the complimentary toiletries.

Far, far away from Berlin, but well communicated with city center by local train and S-bahn. Not enough comfortable as for four stars hotel, but still a nice place for a night during visit in capital of Germany.

we were very disappointing from the room and the beds

The hotel isn't too bad although we were a little disappointed by the room cleanliness and comfort. It feels a little bit like a youth hostel. But it really is a very long way out. We arrived in the airport at 9pm and didn't get to the hotel until 1am, and then there is only one train per hour into Berlin and that takes between and hour and 10 and an hour forty five depending on where you're going, and if you miss a connection it could end up being over a 2 hour trip. In the end we had to sort out alternative accommodation. That said, the surroundings are very beautiful, and if you're looking for a national park holiday I think this could work for you.

Not bad, good breakfast
