Food was awful Drinks even the coke and lemonade were undrunkable.

Our stay at the Lydia Maris in Rhodes was very nice. The staff at the hotel are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. This includes staff at the front desk, restaurants, bars and the pool staff. They always greeted us with a smile and were alway happy to have a chat. It’s location is in reach of lots of shops and it has a very good reliable bus service to some of the nearby tourist attractions. It’s a lovely hotel but I don’t feel it offers all the facilities of a 5 star hotel as there was no access to an iron, extra fees charged to use the safe. The rooms are a bit dated and need to be modernised but other than that a lovely hotel.

This is not a 5 star property. This is closer to 3 star. The ‘arcade’ area is non existent, the rooms are dated and uncomfortable. Our first room was disgusting so had to pay €250 for a slightly better room. The food is repetitive, entertainment is limited. The hotel is very basic and the resort is small and hard to fill your days. I would not recommend this hotel.

Whatever you do don’t stay at this hotel. The reception staff are very rude, the whole hotel is like a basic 3 star. I was gutted when I arrived and discovered this and really wanted to find alternative accommodation but they busy not offer a refund for any of the nights I had book with them. Shabby and very poor quality food, rooms, hotel reception/building/restaurant. Just awful!

Fantastic food catering for both the adventurous eaters and the less so. Any issues dealt with efficiently and in friendly manner (eg our hot water not working, but dealt with immediately). All staff very helpful

Rooms large and clean. Bathrooms could do with an upgrade, particularly the shower area. Food was ok, nothing fabulous. Pizzaa area was a great idea. Dining room was good but we didn't want to eat outside on a pooorly designec plastic eating area, something we would usually enjoy. The staff in the dining room were lovely, hardworking and genuinely really helpful young people.There was no curtesy room available and the cost of keeping our own room for an extra hour or two was prohibitive. The hotel was quite a walk from tne beach but was near to a small selection of shops and bars to visit in te evenings. Some small adjustments could upgrade this hotel to somewhere we would willingly visit again. However we had a lovely 10 days of relaxation.

Slight problem when first checking in as original room bookings couldn't be honoured due to overbooking, however, reception staff incredibly helpful in establishing a suitable compromise. All staff absolutely wonderful with special mention of hotel receptionist & restaurant manager - nothing was too much trouble - highly commendable

Perhaps not enough space around the pool for the number of guests and sunbeds get reserved very quickly. Was normally possible to find space / sunbeds in the grassy areas, however, which was quieter if not so convenient for the pool. Food pretty good but not much variety day to day. Lovely day trip to Lindos by hire car (30 mins).

The Lydia Maris was a good hotel, everything I'd expected for the price, except that, for me, it was too far from the beach. But I probably hadn't checked properly before booking. If you like a pool holiday, it's fine, but make sure you get to the pool early in the morning to reserve your sun loungers, as they don't have enough for everyone! The staff were generally friendly, and the entertainment/animation was good for young children. The food was good too, with enough variety and enough vegetarian options - lots of fresh salads, roast vegetables, olives, feta cheese, etc. For pudding there was lots of fresh fruit, and some lovely very sweet Greek cakes drenched in honey.

L'hôtel est annoncé comme un 5 étoiles, il n'en est rien, il devrait avoir 3 étoiles maximum. La piscine est bien trop petite pour le nombre de vacanciers, les transats sont alignés les uns à côté des autres tout autour de la piscine sans espace, sans intimité, il y a du monde partout, trop de monde dans la piscine. L'espace terrasse du soir n'est pas ventilé et les chaises et tables en plastique n'ont rien d'un 5 étoiles. Les lits ne sont pas du tout confortables. L'insonorisation entre les chambres est à revoir. Les coffres-fort dans les chambres sont payants ( (20€ par séjour). En revanche, un point très positif, le restaurant, les buffets sont copieux, variés et les produits sont d'excellente qualité. Les pizzas faites sur place dans le jardin sont également très bonnes. Le personnel du restaurant est adorable, ce qui n'est pas le cas du personnel à la réception. Le parking est trop petit et on ne trouve pas toujours de la place.

Super hôtel

Hotellet står med 5 stjerner (både hos HOTELS.com i hotellets egen markedsføring), men det svarer nærmere til et 2 eller 3 stjernet hotel. Det er helt helt basic, så forvent ikke mere af hverken værelset, maden (all inclusive), servicen, wifi mv.

La dame de l accueil nous a proposé de manger avant que le resto ne ferme, et faire notre enregistrement après, ce qui etait tres prevenant de sa part Personnel tres souriant et au petit soin Les repas sont assez variés a part les desserts (ce qui est peut etre tres français..lol) Les soirees sont un peu simplistes, pas de spectacles cela nous a manqué On a passé un excellent sejour dans cet hotel

Sofort nach unserer Ankunft feststellen, das das Hotelrestaurant nicht einem 5 Sterne Standard entspricht. Die Tische waren nicht eingedeckt. Man musste sich sein Besteck selbst organisieren. Die Theken waren sehr dreckig. Das Essen wurde unliebsam zubereitet. Das Buffet wurde nicht mehr nachgefüllt. Um 20 Uhr waren die Teller ausgegangen. Die Nachtische waren nach 30 Minuten vergriffen und wurden nicht mehr nach gefüllt. Leider war sehr oft das Essen kalt. Am Speisesaal hängt ein Schild, das wenn das Essen einem zu kalt ist, soll mann die Mikrowelle benützen. Die schmutzigen Teller wurden nicht vom Tisch abgeräumt. Eine komplette Selbstorganisation war nötig. Zum Frühstück gab es keine Servierten und die Kaffeetassen sind ausgegangen. Das Nachmittags Küchenbüffet bestand aus einem trockenen Fertigkuchen. Auch gab es nicht wie beschrieben, 3 verschiedene Restaurant. Das Restaurant war sehr schmutzig. Rabenähnliche Große Vögel haben im offenen Restaurant Bereich starken Schmutz hinterlassen. Live Cooking war ab Dienstag nicht mehr gemacht worden. Auf eine Beschwerde beim Hotelmanager, hieß es, der hätte am Dienstag gekündigt. Leider hat sich der schreckliche Zustand über die ganze Woche erstreckt. Das Hotel hat keinen eigenen Strand. Der Strand war mindestens 20 Minuten Fußweg entfernt. Badehandtücher für den Schwimingpool sind morgens um 10 Uhr nicht mehr vorhanden gewesen. Der Pool war so kalt, das man sich eine Erkältung holen konnte. Keine Kosmetik Artikel auf dem Zimmer.

Elendigt som et 5 stjernet hotel, ok hvis det havde været 2-3 stjernet, bufferten lille og meget middelmådigt, de havde en stor lækker stenovns pizza i haven, desværre valgte de at bruge den til at varme frysepizzaer i. Ingen wifi på værelset, og kun få steder på hotellet hvor wifi virker

Very disappointed with the supposed 5 star hotel. The bed linen was dirty and there was hair everywhere in the bathroom when we arrived. You didn't want to sleep with the duvet because it wasn't clean. The toilet is really old and some of the toilet bowls are already broken. The food is not good at all. Sometimes they gave you frozen baguettes to serve. The food was old and often ice cold. Drinks come in plastic cups which are just rinsed out and not cleaned properly.

Superbe hôtel ! La piscine est spacieuse avec un bar au milieu qui est très agréable. Les repas sont variés et le personnel tres professionnel. Hotel bien situé. A seulement 5 min à pied des plages et 1 min du centre ville
