WOW. Wow. Wow. A 5-star rating is simply not enough. The hotel grounds are quiet, beautifully landscaped, and serene, and the care the staff pour into their guests is simply unmatched. We felt appreciated and cared for from the moment we arrived at the lobby to check in til the moment we reluctantly had to check out. CHOM, the guest relations manager, is a pleasure to communicate with and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for the best possible stay. And it really couldn't have been better. She even helped coordinate the retrieval of a bag I left behind on a tour the night before leaving Phuket, so that I could have it in time for my flight the next morning. She didn't have to do this, but she did. And that's what makes Chom and the whole team at The Pavillions so special. The villas are wonderful, but it's this care and attention that makes the guest experience so memorable. I wish I remembered the names of everyone on the staff we had the pleasure of interacting with so that I could celebrate them here; Ploy and Florence were always kind and responsive whenever we called the front desk, Molly & Sauw's massages, O.M.G., and everyone that came to our villa to either pick us up or deliver bottles of water, pillows, or room service was thoughtful and respectful. There isn't a day that's passed since we left that we haven't wished we were still there. No matter what vacation experience you're looking for, I can guarantee you'll find it here.

I loved the staff and their hospitality. The beauty of the hotel. The views and the options of dinning. Oh, and they were very thoughtful. They remembered things like, portable speaker, the bag in the closet, the adaptor for pulls and the welcoming drinks at the bar. There was nothing that we didn't like about this hotel. We plan to return and to the same villa that we stayed in this year.

A bit disappointed as the overall room condition didn't meet the standard! Some minor issues including feeling a bit dump inside the room, only acceptable cleaning condition, a bit out of dated room condition, blocked toilet (reported the issue and got it resolved quickly by the staff), etc. The hotel was also very strict re the 12:00 check out time. We arrived very late at the night so requested 12:30 check out (extended by 30 mins only) but the hotel couldn't accommodated the request. Another disappointment! For nearly £190 per night, I had expected a minimum 4 star plus standard but the overall condition of the hotel room failed far from that.

I stayed as recommended for a wedding nearby, however, I'm not sure if this is the place for me. The check in process was not as smooth as I expected and I did not receive my room until 4pm (having arrived at 11am). The rooms were fine and clean. The showers and sinks kept clogging and my family had multiple rooms here and reported the same issue. The inconvenient part was having to request a car/buggy every time just to go to the lobby in order to order a grab to leave the hotel. Breakfast was okay and walkable from the room. The pool looked nice but sadly, did not get a chance to go in.
