The Grange Clarendon was a sweet mix of English style and the modern hotel… We had the softest bed and was very comfy and the pull-out full-sized sleeper was very comfy also. The neighborhood was close to shopping, a park and some pretty good eats… Our Uber drivers had no trouble finding us at all! It was also a very convenient walking distance from the film festival we were attending. The folks “manning” the front desk were extremely helpful, kind and courteous! We enjoyed talking to them and we were NOT nervous asking them questions… Finally the rooms were clean and “well” stocked with the amenities… We will come back again… With Bells on!” -Patricia Rea Schuyler, NE

The bed is stiff, which I enjoy, my partner did not, there were several weird stains on the footboards, colors I was more concerned with. The staff was helpful and understanding, the still water was much needed after a day of walking through London

Not a fan of the no cancellation policy--we had an unexpected change of plans and it was difficult for our family. Otherwise very nice visit.

The hotel presents well and also realised when getting there that they are a chain and other Grange properties are on the same block... some being renovated. This didnt bother our stay as didnt hear anything. The room was large and airy. The layput of the bedroom could be better. Tea making facilities in a small box at shoulder height on wall and where the tv is in a corner under this ... not best for comfort. Queen size bed comfortable. Left window open for air as not air con. There were 2 fans available to use if needed. Furniture is quite 1990s style but functional. The bathroom was ok however lots of poor decor and lighting could be much brighter. Toilet is so close to wall and also very low.... im only 5'10 and it was the most comfortable.to use. Staff were friendly and there if needed. Lift available to use. We didnt use the restaurant as ate out for meals as only 20 min walk to Covent Garden and out to theatreland.

The hotel was fine but the corridors, carpets and rooms were a bit tired looking and in need of some updates.

We opted for this hotel as it was close the theatre and an easy walk from the tube. The staff were very welcoming when we got there and had upgraded our room from a triple to a quad. The room itself was lovely, very spacious but because it is an old building, the plug sockets were not very accessible (not the hotel’s fault). Again, not the hotel’s fault but it was extremely hot and there is no air conditioning, we only had a small fan. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but it was good to see that they offered gluten free options

I arrived at the hotel to be told that my room in that hotel was no longer available and they had moved me next door. The next door hotel was a downgrade from the original and the furniture and fittings in the room were very tatty with stains on the sofas, toilet although clean was very tatty

Poor, broken and missing facilities when we were there. Apparently fixed now but doesn't help my one night stay
