I was very happy with this hotel. The room was spacious with a nice view. The hotel breakfast was excellent. I had it every morning. The staff was very polite and helpful when I made requests. For example, I asked for a late checkout and they added an hour. The hotel was fully booked that day, so it was a very fair concession. The convenience of the hotel cannot be overstated. It’s close to shopping and numerous attractions in downtown Cairns. I had a helicopter ride one morning and it was only a 10 minute walk to the helipad. Next time I’m in Cairns, I will be staying here.

Everything is wonderful at this hotel APART from the breakfast. It’s a la carte! Who on earth has time to wait for that when you have tours that leave 7:30/8am. It’s impractical. We arrived and got a take away coffee 25 mins after getting there. Service is SOOOOOOOOOOO slow. They need to change this pronto. Ruined an otherwise 5 star hotel.

I found the bed very comfortable to sleep in. I also find it easy with the Vallet Parking. It just relieved the stress of looking around for parking.

Great hotel. Check in easy upgraded me without ever asking and I am not a special member. Good location if you were going on a dive expedition.

The restaurants

Very nice rooms, very helpful and responsive staff, nice outlook, good bed, street noise from yelling drunken people not so nice, two cockroaches one in the bathroom and one in the bedroom which I discovered the next morning. I terminated their lodgings.

Great location, clean & very comfortable with spacious room & hallways. Lovely pool & a gym, a very good cafe for breakfast (lots of nearby options too) and a central, walkable location. Saturday night noise from nearby venue stopped promptly at 10pm.
