I would not hesitate to stay there again in the near future. I wanted a double or queen bed but all they had were singles, but it was still worth it.

At check-in, the staff gave us breakfast tickets. They called the room while we were getting dressed, so we had to run to the lobby in a hurry. It turns out that the staff gave us the breakfast tickets by mistake. Also there were stains on the chairs in the room. Other than that, the stay was fine.

I had to be moved to a different room sit the uncleanliness of the first room. The second room was no better which has already been reported to Hotels.com including pictures of the issues. I believe there was even mold on the curtains in the second room.

Wonderful staff and very clean and spacious. Good breakfast. On the down side the TV and refrigerator were tiny. Otherwise, great place to stay!

The Quintessa Hotel offered so much to assist us with our stay in Sasebo. The front desk made reservations with taxi services for what we needed. The daily breakfast was a huge spread with a variety of foods to start the day. Laundry machines kept our clothes fresh. Eco friendly procedures with offering a change of towels and taking trash daily was all we needed. Spacious rooms had two large chairs as well as a desk. Numerous restaurants within walking distance offered a variety of options. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Stayed in a king deluxe room for 5 nights in April '25 Parking is in a carpark 1 block away. Quiet safe area. Large shopping arcade 3 blocks away. Friendly staff with minimal English... but no probs. We didn't try the hotel restaurant, there were plenty of other eaterieswithin a 10-15min walk

Great and convenient for military.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. There was a middle-aged man at the front desk wearing glasses, who seemed to be the manager, and his attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional. He was difficult to communicate with and clearly had a bad temper. I’ve traveled to Japan many times, and this is the first time I’ve encountered such poor service. I booked a room for two adults and one child, but they only prepared the room for two people and firmly refused to provide any basic amenities for the child. They clearly do not treat children as guests. If you’re traveling with kids, I strongly advise against choosing this hotel. The room was also very old and outdated, nothing like the photos. The only positive thing about this place is its convenient location, but that alone does not make up for the terrible overall experience.

I would stay here again.
