Lovely room and excellent breakfast.

Nice hotel, walking distance to the blacksmiths and all the gift shops. The room was a little dated but very spacious and clean. I loved the little fireplace heater. The staff was excellent and I enjoyed the breakfast. The only issue I had was the lack of outlets near the bed to charge your phone. I attended a wedding at Gretna and the reception was held here, I really enjoyed the dinner!

We were very comfortable during our stay the bed was ok but the bathroom was tired. The air conditioning was excellent and the breakfast was ok the coffee was not to my taste but plenty of choice to help yourself to.

The Hotel was lovely would say there again just not much to do around the area

The hotel staff were friendly and check in was nice and easy. The room was clean, comfortable and great for the kids with having the bunks. My only issue was a terrible nights sleep due to being located just above what I think was the air conditioning so we had the constant sound of fans and drips all night. Could have complained but the kids were fast asleep and didn’t want to uproot them.

Quite basic and bathroom dated

Food took a while to come out when ordered, not a lot of bar staff on so had to wait to order and get drinks, bed was pretty hard and the pillows were flat - that could be down to personal preference. Humming/buzzing intermittently in the room that we thought was aircon but wasnt, mentioned this to front desk staff.

Convenient location off motorway. Spacious hotel and accommodation at reasonable rates. Bar and meal choices good. Would use again as stop off to Scotland and local tourist attractions.

Beautiful hotel, fantastic staff and rooms perfect for a family. Bed was extremely comfy and parking great. The only fault was the A/C was very loud but a very good stay. Would definitely return here.

Price could not be argued with, room was clean and tidey, you get what you pay for and i could not complain.

Always stay here when on my way up to Scotland

Stayed here for 1 night in a family room. The room was very big, plenty of space. Double bed was huge but it was actually 2 singles joined together which was great. There were bunk beds located in the room for kids. Only idsue was for some reason we could not get any sound from the tv in the kids area which was annoying as they had to watch the other tv in our bed. We went elsewhere for dinner but breakfast was amazing, great choice of food and kept being repelnsihed. If your stayimg in Gretna I would definitely consider this hotel, its a few £ more than others in the area but in my opinion its worth it

It’s was ok - friendly staff, room needs some maintenance works, toilet roll holder coming off the wall, paint chips. Room only had 2 plug sockets which are not located from the bed.

Firstly the room we were given had a smart tv but didn’t work, it was two single mattresses put together badly and was not comfortable at all and the window frame was damaged meaning the window would not fully close meaning it was letting in cold air and we could hear the motorway quite loudly. We were eventually moved to another room which was smaller and had no smart tv, the place is a bit tired and service overall wasn’t great, it’s a shame as the reviews here are very good, our experience was not, also the food and drink prices are very high. They are advertising a refurbishment of the rooms, this should solve most issues.
