There was an odor in the common areas that was rather unpleasant. Also, don't make the mistake of asking to have a very small bag of laundry done..... the charge was ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY FIVE EUROS. Absolutely disgraceful.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! It’s so beautiful. The building is fantastic and well located and it couldn’t have been a nicer stay. So grateful.

poor wifi

A beautiful old style palace boutique hotel. It has some amazing fresco and the state room is worth the entry fee alone. The hotel is centrally located and convenient to arrive by Water Taxi. It also located beside the Gondola station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are a little dated by modern standard but otherwise comfortable and clean. Would consider again in the future.

Emailed the hotel 3 days before we arrived to ensure we had a twin room. They confirmed everything was booked correctly. Arrived late in the evening after traveling all day and were given the keys to a double room. Hotel is nowhere remotely close to a 5 star. 4 stars would be generous. Room was filthy with dust everywhere. Breakfast was one of the worst I've encountered.

Perfect, convenient location for visiting Venice. Easy access via water taxi and wonderful staff with old world charm!

Great stay!

The hotel is truly an old dump. The building is a gorgeous, dilapidated relic. But the hotel is dirty and beyond repair. I have photos of the carpets walls fixtures and more and video of our bathroom walls with black mold growing on them. We complained but no one responded and there were no other rooms available in Venice at the time. It was a nightmare. We reached out to management for help and of course radio silence. We are sending our pictures and videos to the media so they can make travelers aware.

Great location and value for money. The room was large with a little terrace. The aircon was not strong but ok and there’s no tea coffee facility or kettle in the room for hot water. Otherwise great service, calm and quiet with a beautiful old and authentic feel.
